Thank you. You wouldnt believe how thick or proud some people can be.

Most of the people who didn't originally want Deadpool to be Weapon XI, said that because "they wouldnt do that to Deadpool!" and because they had such high esteem for the character. Well look at those toys and the stuff about his powers in Reynolds/Deadpool thread... there's no esteem for a Deadpool fan in that.

My guess is that he isn't supposed to be "Deadpool" yet. Just Wade Wilson until the point he gets scarred and experimented with. In a spin off (taking place in the present,) they'll have him return as Deadpool. The one that we know with the mask and guns.

Surely, but me thinks not at all. If they were going to do deadpool accurate they would have done it in this film, theres not really a reason to have this extreme detour. It serves the story of this wolverine movie. And the wolverines continue.

They could have avoided using deadpool like this at all... He will die at the end of wolverine, mark my words. There will be NO spin off. *inside source*

Yes, but I think it was by another group as a codename before he went with Wolverine.

But hey, I guess it depends on the writer. The way some writers write him you'd think that he was the only project at Weapon X when there's like...several other people.

The reason I can't buy that is because Deadpool was specifically squeezed into this movie to test him out with audiences. The role could have easily been some no-name character.

Besides, how do you kill someone like Deadpool? If the decapitation rumor is true then it probably won't be a stretch to say Weasel found him and put him back together. All these regenerating guys come back from death itself once they've healed up. Hell, Wolverine has died repeatedly. It's an easy enough plot device.

Unless a muramasa blade is involved in the story somewhere, I don't see Deadpool staying dead...........God, I hope no-one makes a pun at the expense of his name in this movie.

Wolverine IS Weapon X (Ten). When he later worked for Department H, he again used the name Weapon X (Ex).

The Weapon X (Ex) Project is an offshot of the Weapon Plus Program.

Ans while Maverick, Silver Fox et al. are part of Team X; they were not all designated Weapon X, just Wolverine.

But I still don't think that is the final version of Deadpool. Those re-shoots that they did last month featured Wolverine and Deadpool at THE END of the film. DP even breaks the fourth wall over the credits apparently. So this Barakapool can't be the final version of him, he has his mouth stitched shut. How is DP supposed to talk over the credits with his mouth shut?

I'm gonna say the stitches and the arm blades will be gone by the finale of the film.

Nah, not confirmed. Fantasised a lot by the fans. Truth is, the reshoots were just to give more action to Deadpool during his final fight w/ Wolverine but some fans like to think that they "fixed" his appearence.

Well it probably wasn't the same fight as in the trailer. The reshoots were added after the original clip of barakapool in the trailer.

Some one on here had a link that said he was narrating over the credits, i'm positive. But can't remember who it was now

I can't believe they are doing this to Deadpool. Its such bull. Deadpool was the only reason why i joined here, and why i was interested in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

I guess i'll just stick to the comics.

like i said, as a consolation to deadpool fans. maybe he's not deadpool in this movie yet, just wade. and even if he gets barakized, i think till only last til the end of the movie. this could be a brief origins film for wade wilson that doesnt show him to the deadpool point (mask, guns, comic version) yet.
