Who is the most or more popular? The Invincible Iron Man or the Incredible Hulk? Metal or Monster? Red or green? You decide.

I think as far as worldwide recognition, more people are aware of The Hulk, due mainly to the 70's live-action series.
That may change this Summer though.

I like Iron Man, but Hulk is better known, so I will not be surprised if he wins.

Overall, The Incredible Hulk is a more popular character than Iron Man. However, Iron Man is just really beginning to shine with a mainstream film on the way. Hulk has had the opportunity to enjoy a successful 1970's live action television series, made for TV movies, and a big budgeted hollywood movie back in '03.

^Well so has Daredevil but it really didn't help him much. These things really only allow them to permeate the public consiousness if they are well received and loved. Hulk's TV show did it for him(far more than the movie), just as Wonder Woman's did it for her and Batman's 60's TV show for him, Spidey and his 60's cartoon and the X-Men and their 90's cartoon.

Kevin Feige said it best, in the marvel universe there are 2 characters that absolutely everyone knows, spider-man and the incredible hulk. I do think Iron Man will be a good film but it still won't gain the popularity the hulk has worldwide imo.

Hulk is more well known to the general public.
But Iron Man has been creating quite the buzz lately. I can think of a few instinces in the past few weeks where I've seen people talking about the Iron Man movie. So I'm expecting Iron Man to get a lot more recognition from the general public. |

Hulk is more known. But that's probably going to change.

Hmm, well, The Hulk is more popular I think. I know alot of people always trying to dress like The Hulk for Halloween, or people just talking about him more in general.
