This may sound a little crazy, but looks aside, who do you think had did the best when it comes to Batman's voice?
Sure the actor pretty much lowered their voices a little when playing Batman, but how do you think sounded better? BTW, excuse the misspelling of Clooney.

I forgot about West. And I guess I should have spellchecked before I posted.

After a while, Conroy stopped differentiating voices between Bruce and Batman, around the time that the show went to the WB.
So I give it to Keaton.

Ive done alot of research, checking out various incarnations of Bats (Animated, live action films etc) and a number of people I thought would fit the role. I finally came to the conclusion that this guy had the best voice for bats, there is no better out there...

I was going to say Christian Bale because I really liked his voice in Begins. But then I remembered Conroy...his voice is perfect, he managed to distinct Bruce Wayne and Batman so good, he did a wonderful job on the Timmverse, and I am waiting to hear him in Gotham Knight, so he gets my vote.

I cant see how Conroy would NOT win this poll. The guy has been playing Batman's voice since 1992.... and every time they announce a new Batman cartoon show or DVD all the fan boys immediately ask "will Conroy voice Batman? will Conroy voice Batman????"
obviously, he's the favorite. |

No Adam West choice? Everyone forgets about Adam West, no love for the funny Batman.
![]() Anyway, my favorite is Michael Keaton. His Batman voice sounds the creepiest, perfect for the terror striking dark and mysterious Batman. Christian Bale and Kevin Conroy are close seconds.

Conroy without a doubt. You know, he actually SPOKE.
I would never vote for Keaton who just thought that whispering=mysterious=scary. Yeah right. His light and high voice doesn't fit THE BATMAN. Val Kilmer was okay, but nothing specially. George Clooney's voice is definitely somehow BATMAN-ISH, but he didn't really get into the role. Christian Bale, okay, he tried. But his screaming was just annoying and didn't really SCREAM superiority. It sounded more like he had to COMPENSATE something. Adam West, well, he is Adam West. Somehow cool and you could INTERPRET his VOICE as "mockery of his enemies", like he is totally self-convinced. Works for THE SHOW but not when he would face some really DANGEROUS VILLAIN. |

Conroy. Honorable mentions include Sisto from New Frontier and Ron Perlman from the Justice League Heroes video game.
