Hopefully, they'll work on the eyes in post. I think it's a necessary part of his look that adds a lot to the character.

Holy Jesus. Those pics made me do a 180 on my opinion of this movie... I have to admit, instead of being cautious for fear of being disappointed, I'm getting kinda psyched for it.

No. Why would they go through the effort of doing Emma Frost's diamond form for the trailer and then not do something as simple as Gambit's eyes?

...for the same reason Mystique's eyes and voice aren't altered or Storm's lighting bolts aren't included in actual theatrical trailers, while effects heavy sequences like the destruction and relocation of the Golden Gate Bridge are. Just because one effects house has a CGI shot prepared, doesn't mean the rest will.

I have been on youtube and there is no comic con footage up yet but someone has put up Hugh Jackman introducing Len Wein, the creator of Wolverine, who was in the audience, Jackman jumped off the stage and ran over to shake Wein's hand and thank him for creating such a great character.

Where is Gambit's eyes?

If in the official trailer he hasn't got the eyes and it looks cheddar....well then I give up on giving them chances.

Oh come on, they're got 10 months still to do all the special effects. They only wrapped filming a few weeks ago, you cant expect all that yet. Jeez, some people are never happy. We wanted a sneak peak, we've got one. Now wait for the finished product!
