I just found out this news, literally by accident while surfing the web...
An anonymous donor has given the Library of Congress the original Ditko-drawn art to the entire Spider-Man origin story from Amazing Fantasy # 15 ! Nobody even knew these pages still existed! The earliest I've seen offered for sale were pages from issue #6 (Lizard origin). Check out the article on the "Ditko looked up" website... http://www.ditko.comics.org/ditko/artist/araf15ar.html As I'm typing these words the impact of what I'm typing is setting in.... this is truly one of the most historic "news" stories to hit the world of comics in decades! A pilgrimage to view these pages in person is in order... |

Holy crap that rules, I'm definitely going to return to DC in the future to view the pages, that is..assuming they are going to be on display.
