Does anyone know if theres gonna be a comic adaption this time around? I know Marvel seemed to have stopped making theres and many fans dont find them that great but i enjoy them. Also anyone know who's making the Trading cards?
Once i find out a mod can feel free to merge, but i'd be grateful if this get's kept open for acouple of hours at least. Thanks.

So no actual Adaption of the movie? Shame, i really like those.
Look's like DC are doing what Marvel are doing. |

Not necessarily. DC put out adaptations for both "Batman Begins" and "Superman Returns". It's likely that there will be one for "The Dark Knight".

Batman was created from a comic book.
OF COURSE there will be a comic adaptation of this movie! |

now I need a blueray drive and this too. My understanding is it doesn't even come out until TDK is already out. the date says 07/08/2008 does that mean the 7th of August?

X-Men: The Last Stand, Spider-Man 3, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and Iron Man were all based on comic books and there were no adaptations for those movies.

You know what I'd like to see for a comic adaption? Not an abbreviated version of the script with cheesey art trying to look like the actors in the film.
It would be cool if they got an actual comic artists to for once to the entire adaption in their style, like basically telll the Nolan story in the comic verse with someone like Sale's or Lee's art. You know?

I also don't get why some are abbreviated versions of the story. If anything they should be extended, and include things that can't feasibly be done on film or would have made the movie go over budget. |

Jeph Loeb should adapt it and Tim Sale should illustrate it

Not always true. I think Mark Bagley drew the 2003 "Hulk" adaptation.

And the six-minute prologue. Which is really the selling factor, correct?

Probably the best adaptations ever are the ones for Star Wars since they were over 100 pages just enough to tell the epic sagas. Return Of The Jedi and Revenge Of The Sith were shortened to 64 pages.
Batman 1989 probably has the best in terms of actors' likenesses down to a tee. |
