OK, but did they say that's strictly unegotiatable and can never be adjusted?

Well they don't give themselves much flexibility by sticking to the summer dates... they can either move a couple months over or a whole year over... which is fine. I just think the execs are too wrapped up in that "Avengers" themed summer. They want Cap to be the springboard for Avengers in that people overseas will try and see that before going into the other film. That's why I ultimately think they won't budge. So the most they can do is what we saw with SM2... maybe push IM2 into July. Not the worst move... but is it enough time? It should be IMO.
