Name a film you hated but everyone else loved

Since there is a thread to "Name a film you liked but no one else did", I thought there should be a thread for the opposite.

When thinking of movies I thought sucked, but are really popular and a great many people enjoyed are the Lord of the Rings film.

The first film, The Fellowship of the Ring, was genuinely one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. The second film, The Two Towers, was better the previous one...but still sucked. The final film, The Return of the King, was better than the previous one...but still sucked.

If I live to be a hundred years old, I still won't understand why those movies were such gigantic hits.

I also couldn't stand the Austin Powers movies. I couldn't even get through the third film.

I'd also add the original Star Wars film. It was worse than The Phantom Menace. I did like The Empire Strikes Back...one of those rare sequels that are clearly better pics than the first movie. Episode 4 was just outright dull.

honestly sometimes, especially when the first and last are spoken of in this place, it makes my eyeballs bleed, I just want to sit down with some people while watching this film and go 'ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME????' sometimes....

Okay, if you hated those movies, I'm curious as to which superhero movies you'd consider your favorites.

A movie I hated that everyone seemed to love was "Citizen Kane". Boring, boring, boring.

Lord of the Rings...

saw the first one in like 6th grade, thought it was boring but still saw the second because everybody loved it and everyone else went to go see it. I thought it was better, but still I just wasn't into it I guess. Never saw the third, but heard it was a lot better so I'm kind of bummed. Not gonna watch it now though. They were also too long for my taste. I don't hate them, just don't see the appeal.

Same for Titanic. Not a big fan...
