The New Catwoman Casting Thread

Hunter gave me the go ahead to make a new thread cuz I asked him t ochange the poll on the other one, but the poll was too old to make it public. Plus everyone has been asking for a new poll so here it is.

Same thing as the other one. Post your choices for the role of Selina Kyle/ Catwoman.

But why the hell are Sossoman and Biel on the list? A down syndrome looking girl and a man face? No thanks.

dont worry, i hate them for the role. I just wanted to see woh would actually vote for those choices.

I do, but I can also understand other peoples points of not wanting her for Catwoman. I think she would be an awesome Sarah Essen as well though.

I think the chemistry between her and Oldman would be better than the chemistry between her and Bale.

EDIT: I'd also like to know everyones reasoning behind their choices. I'll Start.

Eliza Dushku: Not a fan favorite, but I still love her for the role. Though she doesn't do big blockbuster movies, I don't have a doubt that she can't handle this role. Shes beautiful, she can kick ass and shes a much better actress than most say. I doubt she would get the job though, but like how alot of peoples personal choice for catwoman is someone like Jolie(even if someone else is cast), Eliza is my dream choice for the role. I can't wait for Dollhouse to come out, I'm hoping it shows of more of her acting skills since shes gonna be a new character every week.

Marion Cotillard: Definetly the new fan fave. Shes beautiful, shes a great actress and resembles the character in some way. IMO, I think shes the most likely out of my top 3 to get the role. She just needs to work on her english a little bit more.

Keri Russell: Again, beautiful and can act. I think shed be a great choice for the role. I can see her alongside Bales Bruce and Batman. The only thing that might be a bad thing(or good thing depending on the way you look at it) is that she resembles Michelle Pfeiffer alot.

I think it will be a tighter race this time with this list of actresses, this time it's a more Nolan like list (with the exception of a few names), although I'd probably would have added Hilary Swank too coz she's worked with Nolan before.

I gave my vote to Kerri Russell out of the group of actresses that are listed in the poll. If I could choose anyone for the part, I'd have a shortlist of a few actresses, with my favorite for the role being Emily Deschanel and Kerri Russel in a close second.
