IF those rumors are true (and that is one giant IF), then that would mean we'd get Dr. Strange casting waaaaay sooner than expected with the character being in Thor 2.

While I don't know the CHUD rumor, I've seen enough posters have their doubts about it where I don't even wanna check the rumor.

However, it could be based off the rumor on Facebook of when Edgerton was said to be up for a Marvel role, as well as Bradley Cooper and Lee Pace. It wouldn't surprise me if he was being looked at.

That was the single worst casting thread I've been in.

I wish I could say the same, but I can honestly say it isn't.

Well this rumor had Lee Pace as one of the supposed candidates for Ant-Man, so you're probably right. Though now that you mention it, I much prefer the idea of him as Dr. Strange.

I love that guy. He should really be a star by now.

Once you've seen Julia Roberts and Cher fancast as Wonder Woman and Circe(only about 5-6 years ago), you get a new perspective on bad casting.



I like Lee Pace, and I think he'd make an interesting Strange, simply because he looks too innocent and boyish for the role, but I'd like to see him look the part before I'd stand by that statement.

The last movie I saw him in was Ceremony with Uma Thurman, and he didn't look particularly boyish or innocent in that, imo:



And here's what appears to be a fairly recent shot without the facial hair:



Looks like a regular ol' handsome man to me. I've seen John Cusack brought up a few times for this role, and imo, he has a far more boyish look than Lee Pace. Of course, maybe it's because I've seen Pace play some seriously DARK roles that I don't find him all that innocent-looking. Sometimes he can be straight-up creepy. I mean, did you see that mustache he was sporting for A Normal Heart? Nightmares, lol.

I would take Pace over Cusack in a heartbeat. But yeah, Pace still looks like a innocent/boyish man to me, I'm not complaining though.

Haha I was all in that thread, especially during the rumors of Chris Pine, and most infamously, Krasinsi-gate.

Oh my god, the arguments and wars that started when John Krasinski was rumored to have won the role as Captain America.

If my memory is correct, it was Krasinski vs Captain Awesome.

I still stand by Krasinksi, especially after seeing how Pre-Serum Cap was played :P

Yes, but it was rumored later that Krasinski was the top choice and was most likely to become Captain America.. Oh, the forum war that star was unparalleled to few things on the hype.

I remember that! Poster kept photoshopping Krasinski to be skinnier/muscular looking in order to make their argument better. It was all ridiculous.

The times I had in the Captain America threads leading up to the movie were fun and hectic times. I kinda miss those days of casting, and course, The Mayor's trolling.

Know what I like even better? Having Pace team back up with Tarsem Singh as the director for Dr. Strange.

I want Lee Pace for Ant-Man rather than Doctor Strange.

Pace might look boyish but he can play darker characters. Check out The Fall or Infamous

Ha, yeah. We had some laughs. Really it wasn't so bad. Sometimes it was bad but we had some good conversations. It reminds me of the Avengers board where everyone seems really nice and they all talk to each other which is a bit better then...

Avengers board wasn't really that nice though. There were and are a bunch of troll in The Avengers boards. There are trolls everywhere except for one forum: The Thor boards. Those were chills threads with little arguing or anything. There was helmetgate, but that died quickly.
