Were the Smurfs gay or was Smurfette the biggest whore to ever live?

I have always wondered with a village of nothing but men for sometime where the Smurfs gay or was Smurfette just the biggest whore to ever live? I mean if you think about it there were Smurf children later on in the series and they had to all come from Smurfette but what I want to know who is the father of those kids or will we see Smurfette on the Maury show?

Actually, the baby Smurfs are human baby's that they stole, and Magic-Smurf converted them to the blue tiny things they call Smurfs

ACTUALLY. It's a well known fact that Smurfette was merely a Smurf in drag, and that all Smurfs were self-impregnating hermaphrodites. It was all explained in the 2003 Christmas special.

I believe in the comics, Smurfette was created by Gargamel. So how the Smurfs reproduced has never been said, although I'm thinking Gremlins here.

Smurfette was like an ant queen. Every once in a while she'd just pop out a couple hundred eggs. Did she still sleep around with all the Smurfs? Maybe.
