I know this will sound like over reacting but frankly I could not stand the way she does that look to the side when she tells Gordon in their first scene that her Mom is back in the hospital. It's worse than the prolonged shot of her after she helps Dent get in the car with Wuertz(sp?).

Something about it just annoyed me to no end. It was overacting for a quick scene or two that should have come off as subtle but was over the top and cheesy on a level that got under my skin.

I thought she was good. You want overacting, I give you Aaron Eckhart in his final scene:

"THERE'S NO SCAPE FROM THIS!"

He was trying too hard there. Thank god it was just a split second thing. He was great as Two-Face overall.

Technically Ramirez could still work for the police force, she could tell Gordon that she was forced by Harvey (which she was) to help him get Gordon's family. But the only people who actually know that she's dirty are dead, Dent and Maroni. Unless I missed something or she just later on admitted to working for Maroni.

So cynical. I liked it because it showed you didn't to be a lazy bastard to be become tempted to corruption, you only have to be human. It shows the battle Gordon and the rest of the city face when it's so pervasive. Was Batman going to help her mother? No. No one was going to except for Maroni

Something I missed the first time was the rooftop scene Dent says something like "Scum like Ramirez" or something of the like.

Anyways, every time she was on screen my eyes were fixed on her. She's gorgeous.
