I may be jumping the gun here but I feel that many of the characters here aren't all that lovable in comparison to the first two seasons.

I like this season so far, not as much as the first two but hopefully it will get there. These charecters are a lot more out there and its more about sex and drugs at this point then friendship which will also hopefully change.

Recommissioned for series 4 so more cute teen lesbian storylines.

I have always thought that the inbetweeners was a better representation of what school was like.

Not that Skins sucks I have watched both seasons but still, I was not in that kinds crowd at school (thank god) so can not relate. I swear I am getting old as kids in my day were not that screwed up lol.

Now I can relate to the Inbetweeners

I can sort of relate to both, The Inbetweeners is a lot like I was when I was about 13, then Skins just reminds me of when I was about 16.... but I think both shows give a prety good insight into the minds of anyone under the age of 30.

lol

I liked to think it missed me on that one..being 25 and all. Not a single part of my life was Skins like.....except maybe the occasional longing after a girl but without the trashy side of it.

That's why the inbetweeners hits the spot better for me....I am Will....or rather was.

I was never quite as dopey as the lads in the Inbetweeners (I hope) but the language they use and the stuff like skyving school to get drunk in a really pathetic way. I remeber trying to buy White Lightning when I was 13 I just walked into the offy and spoke to the cashier with the deepest voice I could muster, as soon as he asked me for ID I swear I squeeked at him "er I left in the car". After I said I would just go and get it, but never returned to that shop. lol. At the same time though I suppose Skins is more of an idealised version of what most teenagers go through, where as The Inbetweeners is more blunt. and the fact that you're will scares me just a little bit... can I have your mum's number?

LOL

I would say I am closest to Will out of any other character, still big differences never went to boarding school.

I always wanted to go to boarding school, but my mum wouldn't let me be that far away for that long And to make matters worse I am certain I was most like Jay.

I think the inbetweeners gets the awkardness of being a teenager and girl chasing while skins gets the sort of wacky stuff that happens your a teenager especially the parties and when you first try alcohol/drugs/sex.

But I agree with BluTac skins is how most teenagers wished their lifes was like all the time.

I think so to but because of that fact I like inbetweeners more.

I never wished my teen years or adult years were like the skins ones.

Saw this show was up on Netflix Instant Watch and it looked interesting. Watched the first season and now in the middle of the second and it's really weird, because I would have never thought of liking a show like this. It's strangely fascinating. I'm a little concerned that they have an entirely new cast of characters starting in the third.

I personally loved the first two seasons of skins but just couldn't get into the third season and on.

I'm thinking about checking this series out from Netflix, but is the US version the same as UK's, or is it heavily censored?

Half way through the second season and Sid is pissing me off. Poor Cassie.

I'm watching season 2 and I have to say, I hate Tony and Sketch, but I love Anwar, Chris, and Maxxie...
