Th Biggrin SNIKT! - Wolverine: The action sequences thread

In the Comic on footage we saw some snippets of what looks to be a spectacular sequence involving Wolverine on a Bike being chased by a Chopper! As a big action fan i was really pleased to see how great that sequence looks, since during the course of filming i can barely recall hearing anything about them filming any major set pieces.

So have any of you heard of any others ?

Also what are you hoping to see from the action side of things is Wolverine ?

Well in the face of it's hinting of in "X2" I wouldn't mind seeing them take Logan's 'Beserker Rage' to a whole new level of aggression.

Now granted, I have a feeling we won't be seeing limbs fly...but I think there's untapped potential in showing just how ruthless Logan can get when pushed hard enough.

Don't forget there's also a Helicopter envolved on the chase scene!

If I don't miss my guess, I think Hunter was talking about a Helicopter when he said 'Chopper'

I know, but since i mentioned Bike in the same sentence i figured it was clear i was referring the helicopter especially since i said it was chasing him.

I'm mostly hoping for great action between Wolverine and Sabretooth. Fight scenes that are vicious, fast paced, and well choreographed.

In the other movies I felt he was too much like a guy that just had knives on his hands. His claws can cut through anything and we should see alittle more of that.

I'd like a scene where Stryker is hiding behind a steel door and Wolverine his clawing his way through. Stryker is trembling in fear, sweating bullets.

Going by what we saw in the footage, it certainly looks like the action is going to be much better then what we saw in X1 or X2, especially the fight with Sabertooth.

The Wolverine fight scenes were always one of my biggest disappointments in the X-men movies, they never really seemed to capture the intensity or even style of fighting I would have expected for Wolverine. I'm hoping that this movie changes that.

I didn't watch evolution but I saw a music video where Wolverine was riding a motorcycle and cutting stuff up with his claws.

VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

I love this fight...it is so visceral and hardcore but I hope they get their props right this time and it annoyed me when I watched it in theatres. Look close and see if you noticed what I did but the prop master or Singer didn't.
Wolverine slicing through the pipe twice but only 1 piece falling off both times...3 claws would cause 2 cuts = 2 sliced pieces per swing.
Not a big complaint but just a pet peeve because I notice stuff like that in movies.

Have anyone see the unrated version of ''Wolverine VS. Deathstrike''? It sounded cool.

Wow that vaguely jogged my memory, i think i may have seen that episode. but you are definitely right, it looks like an inspiration for the sequence. From a film standpoint it reminded me a bit of the bike sequence at the end of MI-2.
