Okay, everything here just kicks my sweet cephalopod ass up a flight of stairs but I shall post anyway.

A homage to a classic, previously posted in the "Doc Ock's Lair" fanthread:

This is my redesign of the Scarlet Spider. I was going for a more airbrushed design & a more practical belt. I ditched the ankle pouches since I have no idea what they held anyway. So whaddya think?

And I'm glad you liked the route I went w/the hoodie. I guess I was trying to play up the "urban" aspect of Reilly's look, since Lyle & Co. had already started in that direction.

In my Intermediate Art Class 330 we had to do a 10 minute sketch from a picture in our head. I didn't position his hand too well, and I didn't add the other fingers yet, I'll get to them soon. I memorized one of Alex Ross' picture of Spider-Man. But this is as far as I could go. I haven't drawn Spider-Man since I had an artist table at last years Comic-Con. (I wanted to go this year) Well, expect it done soon once we continue another 5 minute extension of what we have but we aren't supposed to look at the picture.

I have to get ready for school, so I'm only going to post one right now. The rest are on my Deviantart (link in sig) if you want to see them right away. Otherwise, I'll post them later.

Here's one I did at the end of August.

Your work is startlingly similar to J. Scott Cambell's. I've enjoyed his stuff for years. I'd certainly be interested in seeing what your pieces would look like with a good coloring job in ImageReady or Photoshop. Keep it up.

^thank you ^_^ Man, I love cambell's stuff. Wasn't he suppose to be coming out with a spidey project pretty soon?

And I would love to try and color some of my pics. I've just been kinda lazy about learning. I've seen some other folks take a shot at coloring them, and I think it was a significant improvement.
