No Access to Boards or Main Site without using a Proxy
I'm having a problem gaining access to the boards and the main site without the use of a proxy. I am not the only person having the problem either as it was another member that had asked me if I could get on. This only started last night but I have tried two seperate browsers, both of which have given Page cannt be displayed and Network connection timed out. I don't know if this is some kind of IP issue but given that I'm in a different country from the other member it seems like that isn't the case.Access is only available through a proxy on seperate machines.

Are you running something like Peerguardian 2? That can cause random web access issues.

Definitely not running that or anything of the sort. The problem's still there though.
I tried turning off my firewall, anti virus software, all running programs etc but nothing seems to let it work. The unusual thing is that it's just SHH that has the problem. Every other site is working fine.

Check with your ISP and see if they can access SHH to rule out a DNS server problem from their side.

I began the day using Open DNS and turned that off to see if that would sort out the problem. The problem still exists and we're talking two different ISPs from different parts of the world with the problem being specific to this website only.

I too have just gained access to the boards but I noticed something. The link that I have been trying all day was:
http://www.superherohype.com/forums/ I then read a post in community where Zodiac said that he typed the name of the site into Google and could gain access that way. When I tried this I noticed that the link had changed to: http://forums.superherohype.com Is it in any way possible that the address could've caused the problem? When I try the first link the same situation arises.

I've used the first link for a long time and never had any trouble with it until this morning. That seems to be what was causing the issue so it would probably be wise if an Admin/Mod could let people know to update their bookmarks so the problem doesn't occur again.
