Yes, but everyone can play Batman! EVERYONE! Hell, four or five of us should get together and all play the SAME Batman, just Megazord him. I'll take the left leg, wieg can play his right leg, MB can play the left arm, GL can play his right arm, and Byrd will be Byrd and just be the dick.

This sudden change had caused many of the world's most powerful mystics... Dr. Fate, Zatanna, Madame Xanadu, and many others, had chosen one man to restore balance by taking on the mantle of the bat, and telling him of how failure would cause chaos and destruction of unimaginable proportions to plague Gotham. And so, using his mystical resources, he studied the techniques used by Wayne, and in conjunction with his own abilities, had taken on the duty of becoming Gotham's prominent protector: Batman.

This man was not Bruce Wayne. But many mystics had told this man that upon Wayne's death, there was a void that needed to be filled, to counterbalance the evil and corruption that was slowly starting to rise once again in the city that was now without a protector. So this man decided to use his phenominal abilities to do something that would restore the balance... Put the many beings in the magical world's fears at rest. Something very few heroes would dread doing:

Becoming the bat...

He stalked the rooftops at night, preying upon those who would prey on the innocent. He knew criminals were a cowardly and suspicious lot, and it was up to him to play on those fears. Fear was him, and he it. For that was all it came down to... Fear...

"Gimme ya money, lady! NOW!!"

The man had his gun pointed at the woman's head, and she reluctantly obliged by handing the man her purse, until both were taken aback by a cloaked figure that descended upon them. A dark shape in the shadows, that came to look like one of the minions of the night. A bat...

The figure had gave the criminal a swift kick to the hand, which had disarmed his gun as it fell to the alley floor, and he had planted his elbow in the thief's face.

So no... This man was NOT Bruce Wayne. He was vengeance. He was the night...

"W-who are you!?"

"You're worst nightmare..."

He was Batman.

A huge green fist shot out of his power ring and flew into the criminals jaw, knocking him out. Kyle hovered over the unconscious criminal as police cars slowly arrived.
"Well that was fun…” Kyle muttered as he flew up into space at top speed.
He flew past suns, planets, black holes until he slowly reached his destination. Oa. The Planet of the Guardians.
“Honey, I’m home!”
He flew deep down to Oa, passing busy Lanterns as he went. The Central Battery stood before him. The power source of Oa, the Guardians and everything.

Little to nothing is known of Powerboy's origin. His intentions seem to be pure - even if his attitude isn't always.

The Teen Titans. What a peculiar bunch. Their leader, Robin, is a disturbed individual. He's always brooding. It sends out very negative vibes. Therefore, it's only natural that he would be drawn to such an unhealthy relationship with an equally unhealthy person: Rose. She is a powderkeg so deliberately defiant that it should surprise no one when she finally blows. I, for one, don't want to be around to see it.

Then, you have Zatara. A lowly magician, he seems to have a problem with me. I pay him no attention. He is, for lack of a better word, insignificant. Now that his power trip has ended, he poses no threat to me. If anyone should worry about him, it's Megan. I don't really know much about her. She's like me - likes to keep things to herself. I can respect that. She seems hopelessly naive, but aren't we all? I mean, we dress up in costumes and fight 'bad guys.'

Arguably the only normal one in the bunch is Superboy. Ironic, considering he's a half-Kryptonian clone. Either way, he's pretty cool. I can see shades of Big Blue in him, and that's sweet, I guess. I don't really have a problem with Kon. Last, but certainly not least, that brings us to his lovely girlfriend, Wonder Girl.

Wonder Girl. Boy, I could go on for hours about her. Sighing aloud, I remind myself, "Control yourself."
