Saw this at gizmodo.com - All figures from this past summer's blockbuster movie are now in 1/6th scale. Check out the MK I version:

The person who wrote that article over at gizmodo is a bit uninformed.
HOT TOYS is actually a Hong Kong company and their scuptors are usually Korean. But other than that.... I pre-ordered the whole TDK line. I was going to skip on the Iron-man line... but that MK 1 might be the reason why I will invest in the series now. DAMN YOU HT!!! |

I have to echo this sentiment... why, why, why did IM and TDK have to come out the same year?! Why does HT have to have licenses for them both? Gaaaahhh!!!

Now the Iron Man line is going to cost me around $800 more of my cash depending on how much MK 1 costs

True, the company is Hong Kong, but the sculpting are done in China and Hong Kong but they don't always use the same sculptors.

I love this figure. I wonder if Hot Toys will make an Iron Monger to complete the Iron Man collection.

When is this one going to be available? I haven't seen it for preorder at any of my usual shopping places.
