Techinically that Wolverine will probably clock in at about 7 inches or just under. Marvel Select doesn't really keep their figures in scale with other 6 inchers; case in point the newest Captain America.

One thing for you guys to remember if you didn't know already is these figures are 4 inches tall. They're not 6 inchers, so they're not going to have all the insane detail 6 inchers have. I'm not a fan of 4 inch scale at all, but I have to say they look very detailed for figures the size of 25th GI Joes.

It's a new sculpt. The Toybiz one was 6 inches, this one is not. It's not a shrunken sculpt either, all the joints are totally different.

it said in the press release he stands 6inches ON his base. so he should fit in fine with the other movie figs.

DS tends to do fans right when we don't have a marvel legend equivelant. So they tend to do stuff in scale with other 6 inch figs (case in point...She-Hulk, Thor, Hulk, Thanos, Uatu, Skrulls/Brood)

Not always. Their most recent Captain America and Iron Man were both 7 inches, and both were incarnations that we haven't got in ML yet. Not to mention Moon Knight, Spider-Woman, Emma Frost, Phoenix, etc. etc. And also, technically Thanos isn't in scale with ML because he's only supposed to be like 6 feet something and the MS Thanos is bigger. Also, if you look at the pics from NYCC that showed the new MS Sabretooth, the comic version of MS Wolverine was right next to him and was about 6-7 inches tall, which is way too big for Wolverine.

I'm not saying you're wrong; MS Wolverine could come out and end up being just the right height. I just won't be surprised if he ends up too tall, as is the case with most MS figures.

i just posted the press release. I'm very aware most of there figures are 7 inches. and thanos is fine in scale... esp with the older legends from the very early toybiz series where they were larger.

That's fine and dandy. Most of their figures that are "in scale" with 6 inchers are figures that are larger so their official heights don't even matter. She-Hulk, Thor, Thanos, Uatu...they're all huge. It's the smaller ones that end up being oversized, just like I posted.

well like i said, nearly all there figures, arn't in scale with eachother, and are usually all (no matter who) 7 inches. Thus why some (hulk, thor, she-hulk, thanos) fit. But Uatu, thor, and the skrull/brood, (possibly even the upcoming anit-venom should be in scale) and this wolverine, are clearly made for the 6inch collectors. It will be the first good movie wolverine. he will just be under 6inches alone. and should fit in great

I hope so! I also wish Diamond would make a MS Ray Stevenson Punisher, but that's another story.

Has anyone actually seen the movie line (not the comic line) in stores? I found the entire first wave of the comic line at TRU and a lonely Logan figure at Wal-Mart, but none of the movie line.

With the claws in...totally more dangerous. Looks like brass knuckles. You could lay a serious beat down with that.

1) Arm your kids. One with Hulk fists and the other with Wolverine claws.

2) Watch the Hulk VS Wolverine animated DVD

3) Let them loose and film it for youtube.

finally found one actual on screen figure today at a walmart in quakertown, PA. It was the Logan figure and I gotta say hes awesome with the exception of the hip articulation...I wish it was on a ball joint instead of a swivel and ball type deal

I saw a ton of 'comic series' action figures at Toys R Us last weekend, and the claw. They also had those little mini-figures, and the shelf was labeled with a Wolverine movie/motorcycle, but they didn't have any left.
