What super powers does Doom actually have? Some how I think Vader and the Force would kill him. Plus Vaders lightsaber would slice right through Doom.

Doom has energy bolts, i think. Which would be VERY damaging to Vader, seeing as his suit makes him one giant lightning rod. Plus, Vader's force abilities are very limited do to his suit. All he can really do is throw, choke, and jump. Also, the armor he wears makes it impossible to raise his arms above shoulder height.

Amalgam = (X) + Marvel, then X = DC

Batman + Captain America = American Bat

Wearing his cape with the red and white striped inside and the blue outside

Wearing his blue cape.

Wearing no cape. Not sure which one I like better. (just noticed it also has a little editing problem.)

American Bat (without his shield)

Not sure on the story either, except he had a partner who was killed in the line of duty and it haunts him to this day.
Maybe he is a symbol for America, maybe he symbolizes their dark side or something to fear.
I wanted him to look campy, a little over the top, unashamedly superhero.
Does he have powers?
One idea is that Maybe Bruce Wayne Rogers, after the loss of his parents went all over the world training himself into a weapon, maybe he saw his war on crime to include the War Criminals.
Should he even have been around during the war?
When he was injected he was given the strength, speed, stamina, agility, and so on, of an athlete, a human at the peak of perfection.
I don't know exactly the story,
I liked the idea of merging these two because they are so different.

I even came up with a classic American Bat, and his sidekick Robin.

Really nice ones. I like Wonder Woman being mixed with Captain America.

DC + Marvel = Amalgam

Here is one, if Batman is mixed with Captain America... then

Joker + Red Skull = White Skull

and here are a few based on other ideas as well:

Composite Superman + Mimic = Composite Super-Soldier

Calvin Meach was a regular guy until he came with a few feet of the original Legion of X-Men. For some reason he also gained the appearence of half Super-Soldier and half Iron Bat, to heroes from the past. (His skin is a green color, but I accidentally left his hand a different green than it should be, like his face.) Brainiac Beast seems to think its because his unstable molecules chose that appearence, his unconciouse mind.
Later on, when he returned, he could absorb any of the Legion's powers, but his ability to store them was limited.

Doom Patrol + Fantastic Four = Fantastic Patrol (formely the Doomed Four)

Robotman + Thing = Robotman

Ben Steele was a race car driver, and a military test pilot. He was Reed's friend in college. When he went up with Reed, Victor, Larry, and Sue, the Cosmic Rays turned his body into organic robotics. He became a living Robot.
Because Ben is a robot now he can get mangled, torn apart, and whatever, and put back together.
Reed took ex rays, blueprints, and whatever, and can successfully rebuild Ben.

I was always disappointed with some of the designs that dc/marvel did in their amalgam comic line, especially Super Solider. So when i was trying to redesign his costume, i thought 2 i couldn't choose between.

(1- is more Cpt America, Guardian (DC), and golden age super's emblem)
(2- is modern Cpt America, Hawk-man (dc) and Major Glory (Dexter's Justice Friends))
