Default Lady Death

Who do you think can pull her off?
I would like the Medieval setting, so I say Peter Jackson.

There is no one in live action that could bring that to life. Not even the biggest titted porn star. Lady Death is just way too outlandish to be honest. I won't lie and say I've never read her books or enjoy staring at the character, but come on.

Hah. What would be sweet would be something in between Beowulf and Heavy Metal. Maybe in 50 years?

Closest directors that I think can pull it off would be Guillermo del Toro or Robert Rodriguez.

Anything would be better than that God awful Oav that came out a few years ago. It would be interesting to see LD done in a Heavy Metal style.

I'm with terry78 on this one. She's just not film-worthy. No more than Tarot or Red Monika or Vampirella. I think a Lady Death movie would either show up as a blip on the radar at best, or set back comic book movies by a good 10 years at worst.

If she was a good actress would you cast her in?

On the story-wise debate, I actually find LD the most intriguing female character of all time. Just give her to a good writer who can re-envision her background and settings and you have a nice flick.

That recent image that Marvel is using for that new storyline that has the devil chick with the cloven feet and devil tail wearing the ass shorts wielding the giant sword just keeps making me think how many artists have cloned this character since her inception.

For Chris: the first is Victoria Silvestedt

Another booby babe would be Aria Giovanni (hope this picture isn't too much for the forum rules).

True. It'd be hard to get a movie to be taken seriously about Lady Death, Shanna, Tarot, any of them.

I've never read any of the books or anything, but Lady Death, to me, seems to be a very early 90s character. Just there for sex appeal. I could be wrong though.

To me, there's nothing wrong. On the contrary, thus leaves the character just in need of a good story.
While there are so many boring female leads that already made into the movie fandom, when I find nothing special in them.

I'd like to see a GOOD animated Lady Death dvd.

And instead of a thong bikini w/ cape, have her wear this

Well, that's OK. But at least in some scenes she must reveal her curves!

here's the thing: If you start to cover Lady Death up, then you lose that appeal that she has, as shallow as it is.
