Omg you beat me to it. I barely ever log on here but I just had to say that after taking a closer look at the enhanced picture and definetly ANUBIS jumps in my head. Notice the doglike nose feature, lack of a mouth or even a mouthplate like allll the others, curved crown which explains the stripes on the side and sort of getting more narrow towards the top. Anubis explains the Egypt connection it's role in transformers (and perhaps earth's) history.

Ha-hhhmmm, Unicron? Yeah, he didnt worship him but he did his bidding, at least for a time. I would love if Megatron worshipped The Fallen, then at the end betrayed him, THAT would be classic Megatron.

Yep the poster is very cool and it is without a doubt the Fallen. I like how they are tying the Transformers in with Earth history and it also gives the Decepticons a lot more depth.

Oh I am not sure if any of you have read the new Empire mag but Bay is quoted as saying that Megatron WON'T be in the movie. The baddies are Devastator and the Fallen. We may get a little tagged on scene at the end where Soundwave resurrects Megatron but that will probably be it. Also Empire noted that Prime was missing in Egypt, which led them to assume he may die in the film. Now that would suck.

Hopefully this is all untrue, as no Megatron and Prime dying would be too early for me, maybe at a stretch the 3rd could do this stuff, but personally, I was hoping they would be holding off doing stuff like this until the 4th movie.

cuz the Decepticon symbol doesn't have it???

it's not a perfect match, but it's definitely enough to see that his face was based on the Decepticon symbol. if you try to do the same thing with Starscream or Megatron, i guarantee it won't match up quite as well.

Good guess. That will most likely happen.

It would also match with the "Destiny" sequel prequel; Alliance-Autobots, Defiance-Decepticons.

I dont think it is a lame comparison, and I dont remember him conspiring against Unicron from the start, he obviously knew Unicron was his better as whenever Unicron racked him with pain he did his bidding.

Anyway, a lot was changed in the first movie, something like this happening in the 2nd isnt out of the realms of possibility. I also think it would immediatly set The Fallen up as a major threat if he beat Megatron in seconds.

All of that was right after he was changed into Galvatron so yes its from the begining.

So its a bad comparison trying to equate Megatron worshiping "The Fallen with Galvatron view on Unicron.
