It's ironic you guys were talking about the underdwellers episode because I saw it last night on Disney XD (or whatever its called) at my buddies. I didn't think it was that good but I LOVED how angry it made Batman at the end of the episode and how passionate he was about it

Ah, thank you very much. I knew there were 4 seasons, just didn't know how many episodes.

They should! BTAS was just wonderful. But, they'd have to keep all of the original voices and artwork and whatnot, otherwise it would be weird...

I'd rather they get to work on a GL Corps series.

need to bump this thread up

So I this weekend I had a B:TAS marathon and I was watching Holiday Knights and I thought it maybe the weakest episode throughout the series, It felt really rushed. Although I did like some of the Harley and Ivy's antics

I've been in the B:TAS mood lately (I blame Kane) :P

I love their voices. I think these are the voices I hear when reading the comics, especially with Mark Hamill & Arleen Sorkin.

I always thought Harley & Ivy had a attracts to each other. I love when they get together.

Have any of you read the comics that tie into the series? They had some brilliant Two Face stories.

http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/1269829.html?#cutid1 Sometimes the best Joker stories are when he just messes without going out a murdering enough people to populate the state of Texas. However, I was wondering what happened to Grace from the two part episode Two Face.

http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/1536662.html?#cutid1 This one is about Harvey's father Lester Dent and his family history with his son. This possibly shows where "Big Bad Harv's" roots come from...

http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/1602686.html?#cutid1 I guess this goes from where "the judge" story from TNBA left off. Two Face's coin has been switched with a trick coin that always lands good heads up.

I really wish these stories got the animated treatment they deserved.

I appreciate the necessaity for the streamlining (they got fed up with the variable quality of the overseas studios), but I think whole change in animation style really killed the show - the characters lost the gravity and weight. They lost their individuality and began to look more like 'cartoon characters' than stylized depictions of human beings. The Penguin and Scarecrow got huge design upgrades, but still would've looked better if they'd been animated in the BTAS style.
The women suffered more than the men, but still The Joker was no longer scary, the Riddler went from sleek and classy to goofy, and Gordon went from looking like a well-conditioned middle-aged cop to a timid elderly Grandfather.
Justice League did a partial course correction on Joker and Batman, but still I find the BTAS designs make it far easier for me to buy into the reality of the storytelling.

I think the characters that suffered the most were: The Joker, the Riddler, to an extent the Mad Hatter, and Killer Croc. Quick list.

The improved ones were Batman, Two Face, the Penguin, Catwoman to an extent.

Still the Joker design was improved vastly with BB ROTJ. The best design of the Joker in animation.

It appeared on ROTJ first. However, I think it differs slightly, due to better animation in the movie.

Harvey, Harvey, Harvey Dent....you need to go on ebay

I'd love a blu-ray release of the whole series. I've had my dvds for several years now. I'm ready for them on blu-ray.
