Diane Pershing is the only one who wouldn't fit her character in live-action...

The rest could have pulled it off. Although it's a shame Adrienne couldn't have been there.

I would kill to see a live action Mask of the Phantasm starring Conroy and Mark Hamill.

Indeed. Paul Williams is short enough to play The Penguin. Arleen's pretty enough, and she even has got blond hair like Harley (not that they couldn't have dyed her hair if need be).

Yeah, I never really cared for TNBA. For one thing, it lacked the atmosphere that BTAS had.

Agreed, I would have also killed to see a live action Superman/Batman movie with Kevin Conroy and Christopher Reeve. Now that would have been the Ultimate World's Finest team up.

I just don't get the appeal of any voice-over actor doing a live action performance of the same character.

Same here. I wouldn't kill for a live-action Phantasm, because Phantasm is already awesome. Changing something animated to live-action doesn't automatically make it cooler.

Nah. If Kevin Conroy could have been a great live action Batman, then he probably would have had his shot in the four live action movies back then.

Just realized today after watching through some episodes of Spider-man cartoons, that Hamill voiced the Hobgoblin and it sounds quite similar to his Joker. Im surprised I never noticed that as a kid.

I'm amazed watching the X-men and Spider-man cartoons from the 90's... the difference in quality between them and B:TAS is shocking.

They aren't bad per se... but they are definitely of their time. B:TAS has remained timeless, apart from a few choice episodes with funky animation.

Why not Tim Daly? 6'1, had the jaw, build, etc.

I actually think the xmen and spiderman cartoons were done fairly well.

Sometimes the X Men cartoon looked good, and sometimes it looked very off. The animation was inconsistent, but I still loved watching it as a kid. I may start it up again on Netflix soon.

I just watched all 5 seasons again on netflix, now on season 3 of spiderman, say what you will but they are equal to BTAS where nothing since them has topped them.

I missed the 20th anniversary of this show thinking it came out in October, and it was something I kept looking forward to for a few months

Yeah as much as I enjoy Spider-Man TAS it's not in the same league as BTAS, IMO.

As far as just animation or storytelling?
