Official Youtube Poop (YTP) thread

In case you don't know, a Youtube Poop is a youtube video that comprises of footage from a TV show, movie, etc. remixed into a humorous new context. Popular subjects for YTPs include the Legend of Zelda and Mario games for the Phillips CDi system, the Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon series, Colgate's mascot Dr. Rabbit, Billy Mays, and in some instances TV sitcoms. A great many YTPs go into NSFW territory, but there are a lot that stay fairly within SFW boundaries as well.

The big debate about YTPs is whether or not they should make sense. Many YTPers are purists and insist that a YTP should make as little sense as possible, making very schizophrenic use of slow motion and instant replay, and also throwing in "ear-rapes" (horrible loud screeching sounds that catch the viewer off guard). Others though, like myself, believe that a good YTP should play out more like a comedy, pushing the envelope for how a new (stupid) narrative can be derived entirely from pre-existing material.

IMO, the king of YTP is Walrusguy. His stuff is pretty consistently funny, and he is very good at re-mixing dialogue to create new words and phrases (although most YTP purists despise his work for "making too much sense"). I'd say second to Walrusguy would be Krobo Productions (or just Krobo). He tends to swing a bit between the two schools from video to video, but for the most part I like his stuff too. Here are a few that make me LOL. I'm trying to avoid posting anything particularly NSFW, but as a bit of warning there may be a 4 letter word or two in some of these, so view at your own risk.

You should check out the Billy Mays Big City Toilet commercial. Definitely NSFW, but very easy to find on Youtube.

I've always seen "Youtube Poop" mentioned, but I never knew what it actually meant. Well, now that I do (much thanks to Timstuff for the definition), I have one question.

Are videos like Juggernaut B**** and other spoofs like that considered Youtube Poop?

Although YTPs are kind of loosely defined, the Juggernaut video wouldn't be considered one since it's more or less a straight up dub. Youtube poops almost always involve the remixing of footage. Sometimes it's to alter the context dramatically from the original intent, but other times it's just to make it into something bizarre and random. If the Juggernaut video was remixed and used audio taken from a pre-existing source (like a movie) then it would probably have been considered a YTP, but in it's actual form it's simply a dub.
