Yes. The Buscema brothers in particular have done some great work with Thor. I prefer John's, but Sal's time wasn't half-bad. He's part of why Eric Masterson wasn't a total waste as Thor's fill-in.

Seeing Thor and the Hulk fighting just depresses me now. Too many years of Thor having the absolute f***ing worst record of any comparable powerhouse against the Hulk in their many fights.

But then this usually cheers me up:

I don't know, that must be Deodato's thing because he did the same thing with Ares. He's admitted character design is one of his weaknesses. That Thor pic looks so badass though that it doesn't even matter. It's just so good.

I think Deodato has improved so much since the 90s.He's one of my favs now and can still hold his own and even surpass some of today's artists.

The chained hammer is just silly. It returns to him anyway, and the chain would limit his throwing range.

Geez. I remember when the Lai brothers were announced as the new "permanent" artists on Thor. They lasted for like two issues and then switched to just covers and then they were gone.
