I've seen the movie countless times, but tonight is the first time it has been on telly for years, so I am very excited about watching it again, the original Total Recall is on itv2 at 10pm.
I taped over my vhs a few years ago, meaning to get it on dvd, so it's gonna be great to see it again after that break. |

I understand that this a more faithful adaptation of the original story "We Can Remember It For You For Wholesale" (damn what a title) and that Colin Farrell hasn't been hitting the gym to bulk up like Arnold to spout wacky lines like "Get Yo Azz To Mahss" "See Yo At Da Potty Richtah!".
I can't wait to hear what the average movie goer thinks when they leave the movie disappointed.

Went to see Cabin in the woods and was shocked to see the trailer of TR attached to it.
which meant I went a little giddy... Mmm I feel like watching it again. hehe. You know, to be honest, I'm a little 50/50 on this movie. I dunno why...maybe its the bad vibe I keep getting from people who think this is going to be a worse adaptation of the short story but at the same time, I'm excited to see two of my fave actresses in one film. and Colin Farrell is a decent actor, don't get me wrong. So heres hoping that maybe...just maybe this will be a decent adaptation. Only a little over three months to go and only time will tell. So far, all three main actors are promoting the film in Mexico. I can't wait til they start promoting it even more. Release date is getting close, man.

LOL, it's funny that this remake removed the two elements from the original that created those awesomely silly lines.

(Sigh)
Anyone else get annoyed when studios release still photos of most the same stuff you saw in the trailer a month or two ago? It's like, what's the point?

It's hard to get a feel of this movie, and whether it will be good or not. I do like the cast, though, and I hope it will be unapologetically violent and even shocking like the original movie did.

Jessica Biel looks good. Wish she could have gotten the Catwoman role.

I know for a fact that Beckinsale has been asked consider playing catwoman by a fan during comic con a few years ago. Oh well...

Yeah, the only new shot I saw was one of the synthetics jumping onto the elevator.
