Subscriptions!

My LCS is always 2-3 months behind (exept in Limited seires and tie-ins.)
So I'm thinking about getting subscriptions to the titles on my pull list.
Are Subscriptions worth it?

The only thing I subscribe to are books that my shop doesn't carry, which isn't a whole heck of a lot.

When I subscribed to monthlies from Image, Wildstorm, DC, Vertigo, and Marvel I ended up getting my issues weeks or months late and sometimes out of order.

I say avoid subs if you can.
