The more pics I see of Cobie Smulders the more I'd like her as Sif.
My original choice was Kristna Lokken but Corp pointed out she looks more like a Valkyrie and I agree.

25 year old Thor? ![]() Where in the hell are they going to find a 20 something year old who has the presence of THE MIGHTY THOR !! Sorry. But I mean that is unrealistic even some of the sites like IGN said that, well they called it kiddy Thor casting or something like that. That's not how I envision Thor. I imagine him as a guy in his early to mid 30s.. Doesn't seem like a 20 something will fit in with Edward Norton and Robert Downey Jr. |

Just because we don't know them, doesn't mean there isn't someone out there. Maybe they'll find the Thor actor on stage somewhere? I'm hoping Skars gets it, though.

That's a shame. Maybe she can, I don't know, accelerate the pregnancy... there are a lot of people who were born after a 6 months gestation and were able to live a healthy and happy life. ![]() Just kidding, of course.

I don't think they're going to get an named actress for Sif because of budgetary contraint
British TV actress is a good likelihood. Anyone know a fetching 20-25 year old one? |

Jaime Murray from Dexter and Hustle might work
Saffron Burrows from Bank Job, Troy and Deep Blue Sea might work too

I hope not or I mean she can get another Marvel role given the chance: Jessica Drew (who's British) or Spider-Woman.

Still older selections. I mean if Thor is going to be late 30's like Gerard Butler I'm fine with them.

Am I wrong in assuming that any chick who could do well as Wonder Woman would basically also be right in line to do well playing Sif?

Yeah, pretty much. I imagine Wonder Woman would have darker features, since she's modeled after ancient Greeks, but hot and statuesque is hot and statuesque, really.

^Noooooooo. She was the worst part of Watchmen(acting-wise). Though she's sure nice to look at and did pretty well with the action scenes.

I'm really liking the idea of Rhona Mitra. Kristanna Loken would make a great Valkyrie or even Enchantress.
Morenna Baccarin is a great suggestion too, but isn't she signed up with the V reboot? |

Cobie Smulders could very well work as Sif. I can just feel it, I don't know why.

Rhona Mitra's kind of gross to me. Everything about her looks sort of artificial.

Hey!
Now that Thor's release has been delayed, Cobie Smulders would have plenty of time to give birth to her child (she's pregnant right now) and get in shape to be cast as Sif. Here's hoping...

I've been catching up on How I Met Your Mother all week and she just keeps getting hotter in every episode. It's amazing.
