The Official TV Spots Thread

I'm watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars & they keep airing Wolverine ads.
One was one of clips we've seen (with a new shot of Emma) & one had clips of the characters in the film (with some new footage of Blob), Deadpool was strangely left out of the characters list but his "Manicure" line appeared after Sabretooth was mentioned. They might air more so tune in!

BAttlestar Gallatica had three tv spots. I didnt see anything new though.

To be totally fair though, that slider grill thing looks very badass.

I had just seen the ads & was excited. Apparently no one else did. Well, except the guy who made a rip-off of my thread.

I didn't record it because 1.) I was in a room without a DVR & 2.) If I did how would I show you guys, I don't have a camera.

I did see they were taking reservations for the video game at Toys R Us today, though.

The girls I babysit for were watching Secret Life of the American Teenager (believe me, I know). So you can imagine my surprise when I heard ABC Family declare that last night's show was sponsored by Wolverine.

They played not one, but two different spots. They were both versions on the last trailer, cut a little bit differently. However they did contain two new scenes - one featuring Logan, and one depicting Emma Frost leading a group of Weapon X refugees (including a bandaged Cyclops) through the woods.

Looks like we may be getting some new material soon...

I knew it. This film seems more like a set up for X-Men: First Class then an actual Wolverine movie.

Just because that review got a few details right doesn't mean it's spot on. Could just be that they had access to these trailers before we did, and extrapolated on what they saw.

Besides, and Xavier cameo wouldn't be awful - at least it would anchor the time period of the movie. I can think of WAY worse stunts they could pull...

It's gonna do some weird things to the continuity. It means Logan meets Charles and the rest of the X-Men before X1. Unless this is a reboot I'm really wondering where this will be heading.

I don't think he meets Xavier, or Cyke. From the sounds of it, Logan just frees all the mutants without really stopping to meet them, then runs off for his confrontation while the freed mutants high tail it.

It does sound like a huge set-up for the First Class movie though. I guarantee that was the only reason they put Cyke, Emma, and probably Gambit in the movie.
