the whole ending looked liked it was shot on a greenscreen stage.. i dunno but it just doesnt look dangerous if you compare it with Casino Royale for example..
i think it was an ok-movie ...also saw it with german dubbing, so I bet a lot of brolins performance was lost.. the german voice was very young and squeaky |

I was being facetious. Apparently, Marvel had laid out the spine of the plot, Whedon just added flesh. And yet made the story deliberately minimalist in favour of character.
About the Whedon fandom, what do you attribute to as being his fault a opposed to his piping up for past 'failures'? Does it really take one man to tear a whole village down?

I've always suspected Germany for some reason.

Finally saw it today, I actually enjoyed it more than 1 and 2.
Absolutely LOVED Boris the Animal, wish they had more of him. Loved when future Boris was talking to past Boris but PB kept staring at FB's missing arm lol. Much better villain than Serleena, even liked him better than Edgar. Even though I read about the twist at the end regarding J's past/origin I still got choked up Brolin's acting just really carried that scene.-DOOM ![]()

I did see the movie. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I did like Brolin as a more sociable and likable K. He played that moment with young J really well. You can see his heart break.
Honestly though this sequel came too many years too late. The movie looks and feels dated. The writing was at times really weak and flimsy. I like Will Smith but his schtick is not as appealing and funny as it used to be.

I think one of the problems is Barry Sonnenfeld. He seems to have become very complacent and dull as a director. His style has become very pedestrian. He even publicly said he only did MIB2 because he got paid what he should've gotten paid for the first one. I can't remember the last truly good movie he directed was. Perhaps the first MIB.

I won't say this movie bombed, but it underperformed. I don't think Sony will make any money off of this. They are now praying that Spider-Man is a cash cow.

It's gonna do the most for them, to a point where they might be satisfied, but I don't think it's gonna be a mega hit.

I saw this last Thursday and I must say it was pretty good. It was a much more natural sequel than the second one was.
Nice effects, cool gagets. The 3D was just OK, could have easily been in 2D and the experience would have been the same for me. All in all 7/10

This movie was awesome! I loved it. I give it an 8/10. such a great fun experience. It's almost as good as the first but the only thing that really brought it down for me was the first act. kind of boring first act but once Will time jumps it hits the ground running. I loved boris too, he was a good villain and didn't over shadow the film. I loved the k and j dynamic in this film.

Nice to see that it is doing well in foreign markets $285 mil so far, hopefully it makes enough to warrant a sequel.

When I went to the theaters both times these past two weeks, there were still people going to see this. Seems to be doing nicely at my theater.
