Ditto.

CNN can be patronizing (like the time after a hurricane came through the Gulf and took some oil rigs off line and Miles Davis asked a guest to "explain to someone from the Midwest what this means." Duhhhh.....gee, I dunno...higher oil prices???????) but I dont mind the news casters. The smug reporters on FOX make me want to smash the TV.

I don't watch Olbermann any more. He just stopped being entertaining to me. he seemed to turn into one big ad hominem and I could care less about that.

Sanchez is fine...

Olbermann is an ass deluxe....CNN's version of O'Reilly...

Brown was, but since this last campaign, she's been a bit biased for my taste.

How so? She called out Obama on his lack of transparency after the stimulus plan wasnt fully explained.

I lost all confidence in her unbiased reporting with her showing on the debates.......had it been just "a little" on the debates, I could move on.......but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the top. It was almost a gigglefest, that kind of turned my stomach. Now, everytime I try to watch her hour, I keep thinking of the debates. Therapy might would help.

I think its very interesting how I believe it is now 5 CNN correspondents have gone to work for the Obama administration. The last 2 just this week out of the Press Corp.

Now, I know someone is about to yell. Snow, Tony Snow was from Fox and he went to work for the Bush Administration.

But, he actually worked in the White House as a speech writer before joining Fox, so actually he simply went back to work where he started.

I don't know, that would be interesting to find out......they would have probably worked for the Clinton Administration, because the last Democrat was before CNN's time, and probably most of their time. Snow was much older than he looked.

I'll research that when I get home to a faster internet.....

Following the path of CNN Middle East correspondent Aneesh Raman and producer Kate Albright-Hanna, who both jumped aboard the Obama campaign last year, senior political producer Sasha Johnson this week announced she's leaving the network's Washington bureau to take the Press Secretary slot at the Department of Transportation. She won't be the only media vet in that shop. As The Politico's Michael Calderone noted Monday night in reporting Johnson's move, former Chicago Tribune Washington correspondent Jill Zuckman “already headed to Transportation in February, becoming Director of Public Affairs and assistant to Secretary Ray LaHood.”

Plus, in the past month or so, two other DC journalists accepted administration positions. ABC's long-time Justice Department correspondent, Beverley Lumpkin, who mostly handled radio news, in April joined the very department she covered for so many years, prompting a Washington Post blogger to quip on Tuesday that she's “turning sources into colleagues.” Speaking of the Washington Post, its former science reporter, Rick Weiss, is now advancing Obama policy at the White House Office of Science and Technology.

So far, by my count, at least ten mainstream media journalists have revolved into positions toiling for the Obama campaign, transition or administration. And that doesn't count CNN's Sanjay Gupta, whom the administration courted for Surgeon General; nor long-time NBC News anchor and reporter Jane Pauley who campaigned for Obama last fall in her native Indiana.

I can't take CNN seriously ever since I found out that they own HLN. Anyone who puts both Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell on their payroll can't be all that serious about the integrity of journalism.

And someone needs to tell Anderson Cooper to get his damn teeth fixed or never smile again. Ever.

I hate CNN. I was watching a bit today and they decided to talk all about Mr. Obama when the **** did becoming the president mean you don't deserve a title at all? They do it all the time, and they did it with Bush too which I equally hated. They call senators, sen. this and that or doctors doc this or that but the president apparently is just some dude.

Add to that everyone on CNN is incredibly unlikable and pretty ****** at priortizing the news (when I was watching today there were two stories, one was US does critical injury to Mexican drug cartels and the other was what phrases annoy you, an internet poll. Guess which they led with and guess which came after the break?). Asshats!

The other day, The Daily Show talked about CNN's low ratings. "They are getting their asses handed to them" by FOX and even MSNBC.

So, to generate opinions, and ratings, CNN has a new segment called

Just Sayin'

As Stewart said, they've come up with a segment on how to talk like a 12 year old. "Just sayin'"

"Wanna know what I'm thinkin'?"

They have also come up with "What the..." and "Are you kiddin' me?"

I think CNN's problem is that they have become too big. (And constantly plugging yourself as 'the best news on the planet' is a little off putting.)
