Hmm I joined three teams today one of which I lead. There's still alot to be done with this. That's all I'll say. Spoons let me know your characters handle in pm the next time your on. and maybe some of us should start making a list of things that they should add to the game to make the game more fun or more grabbing to put up on their beta forum. It's why they have feed back section there after all.

Well there were alot of new add ons to the game and Revamp of the way the game plays for some characters this week after playing to day with their update. that's all I'll say. but alot seems to have improved, and yeah someone did make a thread on things that can be added to the game in their private forum . it's cool to see. Those of us that have come up with idea's should look it up and if you have anything to add put it up there. that person really started some thing there.

yeah they keep saying that. But they haven't announced that part yet. we have two months to go too. And nothing on when steam will pick this up. Do you want me to ask them on their private forum on those?

there's the Xbox controller you can use for your pc a ps3 styled one or a logictech. which is shape like a ps3 one but thicker. .. wait for them to annouce the support though I don't how soon after launch it'll be .

I watched and he said they'll be adding it later some time after launch for controllers support and they are looking into adding it. Now as for WaSD he didn't say that will be in. But as to controllers support they did say this "it's something they may do " and he said this @ "1:49:27/ 2:34:01" to 1:50:01 / 2:34:01 during the show case of Mutant town .


They are looking into putting it in "after launch" Not before, but some time After . so you should look at that part of the video. make sure the bar is there. Make sure to look at it, at that part of the video and listen carefully. They are looking into adding it and they know people have been asking/ requesting it of them on their own forums to add it and to have this on consoles too.

I really think you guys are expecting this with too much confidence, while in every vid they throw too many "might be, maybe and possibly". There was never a confirmation.

Well it's not the "maybe's" I'm holding them on to here. it's the fact that when those reporter's ask them about both the console and controller support( for pc) stuff they said they are looking into putting it in. In the mutant town part of the video as you can see there, where I pointed out where to find where he said it at, after they are done with it and have launched it.

Watch the video. Other wise he should have said a Straight up no. (but he said they are plans instead.)


Cause as he should be very aware of now alot of Dev studio's have been in trouble just for promising too much or have been put on the spot for it . And I'm sure they are aware of this, it's happened with others. And they obviously know better from what happened with other studio's that did this. Just let them finish up and we'll see what they do on the rest after words . Ether way their focusing on the now which is that they want to make sure what is currently being worked on by them succeeds. Then we'll see if the rest of what they said fallows.

But I think that's the catch... they never promised anything, just bounced right and forth with the idea. They said they were thinking about it (he cataloged himself as oldschooled and never initially thought about it), then comparing the genre ARPG with RTS validating the idea that while is possible to make it, it's not a pragmatic add-on, gameplay wise.

I understand what you say, and I swear i'm not trying to be negative or narrowminded, but please don't have any expectation or high hopes. Even with all the fanservice and the feedback, we are talking about a heavily-styled hack&slash ARPG made by the creator of D1 and D2.

Like I said I will not hold any thing over his head it's up to him and his studio to try and deliver . I don't join in on dog piles on dumping on people. But I am taking a wait and see approach. So far since I have made it in the beta I've seen some of the stuff I suggested happen or like the stuff he detailed on what he said on enemies difficulty scale happening which he mentioned. So I know where my heads at and I'm not Expecting too much and He's a smart man, he won't say something he isn't planning on delivering on. and you can tell he tries very hard to be careful on what he say's.


it's just wait and see for my self and to keep up what I'm doing in the beta as I'm supposed to do.

Yeah, he has repeated the same speech since it was revealed. Never nothing new. He talks about "Orbs", "Costumes", "Skill-Tree", "Large maps", "Instances" and "Character differentiation".

Everything else is cleverly avoided. "That could be fun" (I think he says this when semi-confirming something, like it was with the pvp), "we are thinking about it" (i think this is a negative).

Nothing is written in stone, but clearly he wants to set a different path that D3. We'll see how well the D3-ps3 game is received and how much betrays the structure of the original mechanics.

I'm gonna leave/ end it at this with what he said that there are plans for that contoller support and to work on consoles after he said we are thinking about it and the stuff that after Damon asked that. why cause of what they said with mac it'll after launch and to me that is sticking point.

Alright those that picked up your beta keys from IGN have fun today, but please don't forget to report any bug's you find after your done with the tutorial, this isn't a demo but a beta. (which mean's it's more about helping out then just seeing for your self how it plays as most of the stuff in it changes often ) But you can still have fun while you help to improve this game.

Today is the longest beta test yet. your details are already in the E-mail from marvel heroes right now so please look that up there's a gift from them there too.

• I have played D1 in my childhood and played D2 till a few years ago in battlenet, and occasionally make a lanparty with a few friends; and till a few weeks ago, i was playing POE with my gf; and must say that while i'm impressed with the roosted variation and "class personalization", the game itself feels a lil' too much chaotic.

• The medkit/regen mechanic doesn't seem well handled, specially if going solo.

• Although there is some skills variation (not at all what Brevik said about being equal to D2, but i'm going to wait to the full version), most skills doesn't last very much, and are discarded almost inmediatly. It feels that the game can't achieve that much of differents character builds.

• Feels buggy too. I got a good pc, but lags a little when there is a monumental particle explosion. This intensifies the "chaotic" part. It doesn't engage the cooperative combat that organically.

Happy to see you made it in. but int he future any details you have it's best to do on their private forum and what you think they need to do to improve it. cause they might have people watching here. I can't tell if they are running in multiple servers. I haven't run into spoons or samwise yet . but let me know when your playing I've picked up certain buddy's since play in and made it pretty far and picked up alot of artifacts as they mentioned in the videos of game play.

I got the IGN Betakey, i was able to play with Storm (lvl10) and Ironman (lvl20). Yesterday idk what happened, but it looked like the server crashed or something, before the beta expired...

The experience, while chaotic and unbalanced at times, was really entertaining.
