It's all about proportion.

You could eat 3000 calories in a day if it's the right stuff and you're staying active.

It's fine to eat burgers, and donuts, and cookies and stuff, but not all in one day or even a week if the proportion in size is large.

Ya know, I'm thinking this should get merged into the Health thread...I dunno.

A sandwich like that up there (I est. 3400 calories in that sandwich), it's not healthy to eat at all, but you could safely eat it as long as you're practically nearing starvation and it's the only thing you try eat for over two days and you lay off red meat or fatty foods for a week or so or it'll really screw you up.

I think I want to take a bite.

I bet a single bite would cost you 350 calories.

That's WAY too much, but at the same time I'd probably still try it.

I can't imagine who's colon could handle that thing. I think they'd have to operate.

I love the kids who rub it in peoples' faces that they can eat whatever they want, whenever they want to, and however often they'd like.

Because once they hit a certain age between... I'd say 21-25, it's all gonna crash down on them, and they'll be too short on motivation to work out and keep it off, all because they spent the previous 20+ years on indulging on ****.

that looks like maybe to much for one burger, or atleast to only be on one bun, as for being able to eat that much I could and would, not that I probably should, but...

"Too much" is subjective. For many people, that burger would give them a stomach ache or they wouldn't be able to finish. I could probably eat one if that was the only thing I ate all day. Still, I've known some people who could put one of those away easily, including a friend of mine who barely weighs 120lbs.

It's still "too much." You shouldn't take in that amount of trash in a week, let alone in one day, or even worse, a sitting.

I love watching those Food Network specials where they go places where they serve just ridiculous amounts of food.

I'm a Five Guys guy now, and I pity anyone who isn't near one.

However, I'm curious as to why anyone would eat ONE McDonald's "burger", let alone 2 pounds of it.

In N Out 20/20 burgers are smaller, though, aren't they? Sort of like White Castle?

8 patties? Meh. I worked at a small fast food place in 9th grade and ate a 9 patty burger on a dare with another guy. We worked our way up from three every day for about six months.

Best meal of my life. Never again, though. Wasn't the best morning of my life the next day.
