I enjoy her. She's one of my few purchased artists from iTunes.

I hate country, but I regard her music as more "pop." I really enjoy her album...thoughtful, youthful, and romantic

She's definitely not country! She's teen pop. Which is why she's always on Disney Channel.

I agree that's not an excuse to call her great, but you still gotta give her credit for doing something very few teen stars do.

that's the point i was trying to make. for her age to be writing and producing as much as she does, that's pretty rare these days.

i think i read somewhere she did one of her music videos on her laptop

I love Taylor Swift and her music. I have both of her albums and think she's great. She sticks out like a sore thumb amongst the rest of my favorite artists, but the fact that she can actually be classified as an artist rather than a product is enough to get me hooked. And I think, her songs, though simplisitc in lyrical terms, hold a lot of depth, wit and relatibility, espeically for my age groups.

Not a fan of either, so yeah..."Love Story" was particularly painful to listen to.

But if she does do most of her writing/producing, then I gotta give her props for that, when most pop starlets are a dime a dozen--at least she's just unententially dime a dozen.

I'll come right out and admit that I'm a much bigger Taylor Swift fan than I should be.

Frank might be a little ticked that "Love Story" has the same amount of plays as "I've Got You Under My Skin."

If you scroll by 'Artists' on my Ipod, you will find Taylor Swift comfortably positioned between Tay Zonday and The Teen Kings (an early band featuring Roy Orbison).

Okay, I like some of her songs, but am I the only one who thinks she should be a songwriter and not a singer? She really doesn't have any singing talent imo. Sorry.

i thought her comedic skits at the beginning of the award show were very funny, the rap video the cream of the crop

i don't think she has an amazing voice either, but i think she could do well if she ever tried to venture out to acting. she was on an episode of CSI

I'd heard her name thrown around a few times, but I had no clue who she was until recently. There's this "Teardrops on My Guitar" song that plays over the PA system at work all the time, and it's pretty damn catchy. Pretty much every employee (myself included) sings along to the chorus. It's insane.
