I very much look forward to it. Interesting that they changed the title. Plus the movie rights have already been bought!

I'll probably get it for my dad, who enjoyed the last two.
And of course they're doing that many copies and already bought the movie rights? Who's thinking that this isn't going to sell like hotcakes? |

In the recent issue of Wired they discussed a monument which Dan Brown will make reference of in the his new book. This must be the book. The article is pretty cool and this monument is pretty interesting.

I really hope Dan Brown took the time to change his writing a bit. I liked his style at first, but every book does have the same basic structure and aha moments. Only the locations and character's names change

He's only got four book and you can probably read them all in a week. So far for me Angels and Demons is the best - thought I read it first. Reading last the books he wrote first perhaps has given me a skewed perspective, but I'm REALLY hoping this book isn't as formulatic as the others seem to be.

I wouldn't mind seeing Digital Fortress adapted to screen. With the Dan Brown name and the content, it'd probably do well

I thought Deception Point was incredibly lame. The entire plot, the "twist" and the characters were just a mess. It was a terribly lame book.
Digital Fortress, however, was really good and I hope they decide to make a movie out of it. I think it'd do pretty good.

Maybe I'm a book snob, but I hate Dan Brown's work. I tried to get into the Da Vinci Code, but I felt that it was too terribly-written.

I'm almost finished reading Angels and Demons, and while I've definitely noticed how Brown's writing style and structure is similar in both this and the Da Vinci code, it still seems to draw me in. I'm enjoying these books much more than I thought I would, and I'm sure I'll pick up The Lost Symbol as well.

Thought I'd bump this... there's an official site up here with a countdown to the release date and links to the book's official Twitter page and Dan Brown's FaceBook page. For the past few weeks some viral marketing has taken place with cryptic clues posted on the Twitter and FaceBook pages. If you like riddles and puzzles you should check it out.
The U.S. cover art has also been released and can be seen here. You can get caught up on the answers to the Twitter and FaceBook clues here.

I'm horrendously confused about the relevance of these clues...
