Seems like its moving ahead, glad McAvoy and Bekmembatov are back, hope they cut the stupid bits out of this movie, like thousands dying on the train just so Wesley could get his so called 'revenge.'

Yeah, I wasn't really feelin' the first one. It was good for entertainment value, but quality-wise it was pretty bad. It had some good eye candy though...Jolie and McAvoy

I liked the movie except for "The Loom of Fate" I thought that was real stupid. I can take bending and clashing bullets but taking a Loom's orders was terrible.
I want them to do something where somebody says "Do you really took orders from a f***ing loom?"

Yeah. But you're forgetting one key part of that 'weird ass comic book myth'.... it's usually interesting enough to allow for a huge suspension of disbelief.

A bunch of people taking orders from a loom though... is ****ing retarded.

The movie Wanted was just rubbish why would they make a second movie? Wait 10 or 15 years and reboot it and do it right! Read the comics before you write a script next time.

even critics which is insane for a movie like that...

it was also one of the underdog movies of that summer.. with a budget of 75mil... and it made more than triple that back.

Umm...in the comic he said he ****ed, raped, and killed a female celebrity he liked. All of them were a bunch of sadist/rapist assassins. There was no moral code or conduct; it was all askewed and ambiguous.

Interesting to see that news item on the fiont page about Wanted 2 and Jolie returning.

The source is stated as Russian InfoCentre, for which the link is here

That site says its source is Ria Novosti, which is here.

When you click on that Russian news site, you can choose a language (including English) and I cannot find any mention of this story on Wanted 2 and Jolie returning at all.

Can anyone else see the original story?
