I haven't seen the clip on Home so I don't know what it entails but if the conversation before their fight happens in the way it does in the leaked version he is a pretty big dope for ignoring everything Wolverine is saying and making an assumption based on something that doesn't really prove anything.

Gambit is polite at first, he invites wolverine to the game, he's playful, charming, makes jokes, it's after wolverine mentions his prisoner days that he turns agressive and attacks him because he thinks he's there to take him back, he has reasons to make that assumption 'cause you have to admit that the way wolverine brings the subject isn't very subtle and he doesn't exactly give you a friendly vibe, Remy has to be very careful because he has been taken there before. It's a logical way to react, that's not dopey at all.

Forgive me, but exactly are Gambits powers anyway? The only X-Men comics I ever read are like 3 Deadpool comics so I have no idea what Gambits powers are. I've seen him everywhere, so if someone could enlighten me that'd be great.

Logan says he wants to kill Victor Creed, the man that probably locked Gambit up. He says he needs Gambit to show him where the island is so Logan can find Creed and kill him. Gambit ignores all that and sees Logan happens to have dog tags, so he attacks Logan. Seems pretty dopey to me.

And Gambit's main power in the comics is to charge objects with kinetic energy. In the movie though it just seems like he's a magic man.

he not only charges it, he manipulates the energy, that's why the cards seem to be 'flying'.

He's done the magic trick in the comics too:





so that's not something invented just for the movie.
And I still think he has enough reasons to turn agressive, just like Taylor Kitsch said:

"With everything he’s been through, he has no reason to answer to anybody"

It's just a regular staff, but he charges it with kinetic energy to perform all of it's interesting, sometimes seemingly nonsensical, tricks. Like the Gambit-copter and Spider-Gambit scaling the wall.

the bo staff is a part of his fighting technique, which is a french discipline that uses a staff, I can't really remember the name right now.

He is cajun, I was talking about the fighting technique.

Basically he's a walking grenade, the energy running through his body gives him greater strength, stamina, and agility, he's a thief trained in the french kickboxing martial arts, oh and he also has hypnotic charm that only works on sentient minds.

Bad news folks, looks like the clip has already been taken down. All they had was an ad for some upcoming game. No more clip. They didn't say anything about its being a limited time thing but I guess it was.

Maybe they rotate what's on that screen every so many hours and I got lucky the last time that the Wolverine clip was already on. They had also claimed to have an Angels and Demons trailer that I never saw....

Lagged on it. I didnt want to update Home so I didnt bother. Figured it would still be here today. Thats sucks they took it off.
