Well I heard Deadpool's treatment in the film before hand but I decided not to pay too much attention because I didnt want any spoilers. But thats my thought too, its NOT Deadpool.

Firstly, great avvy man! Fonejacker FTMFW!

And as for Weapon XI? I thought he was creepily bad ass. I liked the way he just stared at Logan when he stabbed him, you could sorta see a smirk underneath that sealed mouth as well. And the part with him teleporting from all angles was insane, drew a lot of gasps from the audiences I've seen it with.

But yea, it shouldn't of been Deadpool. But I do think it does set him up to become the real Deadpool quite well. He is now a failed experiment, all ****ed up and that.

Yay! My dad got that one last time too, he was happy he got to see both.

I saw it for the 3rd time yesterday, and we got the Japan ending, which was the one I was hoping for because I was with my Hugh Jackman-crazed best friend and I knew she'd love getting an extra minute of Hugh (and she did).

Now having seen the movie 3 times (and that's probably it until blu-ray), I noticed:

-No, it's not perfect, but I really liked this movie. I don't care what anyone else says.

-Kayla was definitely working for Stryker before she met Logan. When she shows up at the end of the movie, Stryker explains that they couldn't just let him walk away, that he's dangerous and needs to be watched, and then goes on to explain how Kayla's persuasion powers are so useful in a seduction. He sent her after Logan so he could follow him. (and she wound up falling for him)

-She couldn't convince him to let her sister go because when she came near him he pulled a gun on her. There was nothing in the movie to indicate that he had her sister for 6 years, and it was probably recent. She'd fallen for Logan and he needed a new incentive to get her to betray him, so he'd captured her sister and used her.

-When Victor 'killed' her, I'm guessing it was her blood that was in the bag Victor broke open over her. She'd could have given it before she left Stryker in case they needed it to fake her death.

Oh, and Chase, there was a bridge on 3-Mile Island.

Nothing special here

i gave it a 7 which I thought was OK. Hmm almost gave it a 6.

By no means a bad movie but not in the same league for me personally as some other current superhero movies.

I don't get why superhero fans are so split or forgiving with this movie. Maybe the prospect of Deadpool's solo movie outweighed actual Wolverine/X-Men fans. Also, females are rating the movie higher than males (according to IMDB).

At most, I give it 5/10. Hype must be clouding people's judgment. Maybe by next year I'll find some disdain I can relate to.

hAha. i was just thinking how close it was to getting there. but @least they aren't talking about pop and drugs here.

(well, to be fair, I was the 1 that accidently started a conversation about soda pop in that thread.)

but still, you should prolly be a lil nicer to the ladies. you'll get further in life if you do.
