I just came back from the Theater with my friends. The Movie is good...right until the part when Wolverine Leaves the team. It gets good again when the Adamantium Bonding scene happens but it starts to suck when he is at the old couples' house. Then gets good again when Wolverine goes to New Orleans and then goes back to the slow boringness when Logan goes the Island. The Acting is good minus Danny Huston he certainly was the weakest actor. The Story was okay it sorta stays true to the comics. And it does make sense why wolverine lost his memories and who he was.

What i hated about the film was that it was too rushed bad direction and too many characters. Cyclops Emma Blob Beak and Gambit really had no point. They should have just stuck with Deadpool Maverick Silverfox and Sabertooth. This was just like X3 all action and no strong story. I give this film a 7/10 just because it was leaked online and i saw it online and it kinda killed the movie for me. But Fox Needs to get Bryan Singer And David Hayter to fix all this mess that Fox has created without them

honestly i went in with low exceptions these were met and some surpassed

pro's

jackman always was spot on with the character
sabertooth was great and a lot better than i expected.
Reynolds for what we actually seen of him was superb and was a perfect page to film translation of the character
the action was decent for what they could do but no major events were that memorable
cameo's the likes of quicksilver and xavier were a nice touch

cons
to many usless characters. the team for when it was together was great but what was the point if the vanish and get killed off after the first 15 minutes
gambit was this films venom, he was only there to shut up fanboys, what the hell was his point in this film it could have been any character or they could have just skipped it and have blob know where the island was.
stupidity like the adamantium bullet was just moronic and had to be an after thought
deadpool i'll separate this cause reynolds played wade wilson, weapon 11 was just one of the most annoying and stupid idea's i have ever seen, seriously have the writers actually read a comic that was other have said it better than I can
everything has to be connected, cyclops didn't need to be there, silverfox and emma frost are sisters wtf so is silverfox a fake name and her name is kayla frost or is emma known as emma silverfox in the film.

the film really was very bland it may not be a great discrimination but after it was over all i could think was meh

and i still say the "multiple endings" is a pile of bull

I don't agree either. That hyper mess known as Transformers is nowhere near as good as this film. The director on Wolverine doesn't zoom the camera and lose all quality when it's time for action. Wolverine is a strong and balanced film.

Gotta disagree. How is this film strong and balanced?

That is fine. But, Transformers made more money than this will, it was better received by fans and critics than this is, and it is a campy summer popcorn action flick where this is the exact same thing trying to be something more but it isn't. The X-Men franchise has now been lowered into a mindless action romp like Transformers is so these two films aren't too far apart except that Transformers has much better CGI and action sequences.

Because you won't remember or care about the plot holes when you're laughing at the dialogue and acting.

I happen to like the first Transformers, minus robot urination. It could have used a little less silliness but if it took itself too seriously it would have been even more ridiculous. The "power ranger" posing isn't wholly inappropriate considering the source material. Transformers G1 isn't exactly deep stuff and they often did such things—looking at you, Megatron.

Trash Bay all you want for being formulaic and for having weak stories, but he is damn good at what he does and consistent at it. Transformers had fantastic pacing for how long it was.

Wolverine had no "awesome" moments, just potentially awesome ones and that was extremely frustrating.

My friends and I hypothesized that the leak is more entertaining because of the laughability of the effects on top of the dialogue and acting. I won't know if this is true until some I know gets a DVD of the theatrical release when it comes out, but I'm willing to bet money that we're right.

^Very true. The best part in the work print was the unfinished CGI so you could have a good laugh.

I'd have prefered the unfinished CG on Xavier. Man, he looked like an alien or something

You guys really like the theatrical version of Daredevil...better then this?

You know when I heard about who was directing and who was staring in this, I never would have expected it to turn out like this. Yet again, many people still said this movie was Awesome...so I guess I will see.

But I always thought with fox...it could be horrid.

It's just Patrick Stewart, no CGI.

This is a real shame, I really liked where this movie was going...the cast and crew (besides fox) seemed to be really good. It's a great character...idk. If this movie just floats into the back ground never to be brought up except by people compairing it to other bad movies like they do with elektra...then that's a shame

It's unpleasant I know, but if this causes the film to flop and gets Marvel's properties out of FOX's hands sooner then I'd have to say it'll ultimately be worth it. And if Jackman keeps his promise, he'll never do another X-film again.

I can see the behind the scenes bickering now:

Rothman: "You sold us defective characters. We make movies with them and they suck and bomb at the box office! It's your fault, Marvel!"
Marvel Exec: "Fine, we'll gladly take them off your hands. Cha-ching!!"

Transformers is the perfect summer flick. It's big, its loud, its fun....and it knows it. Wolverine is like the kid trying to be cool....but we all know is just a douche.
