I can say I honestly believe Hiddleston will have the breakout performance of Thor. I can see him being the RDJ of IM 1 in this movie. Just completely embodies the character and all its glory.

I think I may be more excited to see Loki on the big screen.

with the rumor of aliens/kree/skrull being the enemies in avengers, i wonder how loki would fit in? i was hoping he'd play some sort of big part in the show.

actually i was reading an article now saying kree is likely not going to be in avengers just yet. But who knows, the script could end up going through a few more rewrites before shooting starts in jan/feb.

If it's just the Skrulls, I'm gonna start worrying that they're just adapting the first Ultimates story using the actual Skrulls instead of the Chitauri (a.k.a. the Ultimate faux-Skrulls).

it would seem better to start with classic deal with hulk and maybe hint towards kree/skulls during the film so they could be threat in 2nd film or 3rd film if they wanted to go with someone else for second film.

I'm just messing with you. I guess it could be confusing. Gold tends to be far more associated with Loki than Heimdall. I wasn't expectnig all-gold armor for him, but it looks good. That helmet is straight out of Simonson's run, too.

Yeah, I really want to see those horns. They better be full-on huge, golden horns. Tim Curry proved you can get away with giant horns in live action in Legend. Do not disappoint with Loki, Marvel!

I don't think they'd give Heimdall his horns but leave out Loki's. They're iconic

hiddleston does seem to fit loki very well, cant wait to see the horns, and hear him speaking with the thees and thous. also he is tall which is good cause he will seem more like a god when next to a normal human, but not too tall that he is bigger than thor. very nice choice. i know the height thing is too nit picky, but it just happens to fit with what loki, at least to me, seems to be.

I'm glad he's tall too. "Lanky" is a good word to describe how I think of Loki. Hiddleston's got that look down pat.

Rumblings from the set indicate that Hiddleston steals the show as the villainous God of Mischief. He's expected to reprise the role in "The Avengers."
