yea if loki's horns were too far forward he would hit them when rasing a sword or staff. or when someone walks by him. or when talkin, since loki seems like a gesturer. he probably talks alot with his hands and does the fake curteous bows to people. damn i can't wait for thor.

I wonder who will be the first to cry bloody murder and say they look like one of those goliath beetle horns? lol

Personally, I think it looks great. I love how they have the guards lined up along side Thor, this is most likely when he gets banished, my guess at least.

Y'know, I got so bogged down in the whole 'will he/wont he have horns' saga that it actually never occurred to me to prepare myself for the trivial complaints that will be made after the horns were actually revealed.

Believe me, those complaints will start soon once enough people hop on and check out the picture. I have no problem with valid criticisms when it goes too far from the comics but sometimes there are some extremely nitpicky complaints that tend to be laughable. I like the helmet a lot and can't wait to see Thor's.

I still maintain that the biggest fanboyism I have seen to date is someone praising Andrew Garfield because he has "brown eyes like Peter, I never liked Tobey as Peter because of his blue eyes."

to be honest, I 'prefer' that garfield has brown eyes but not a big deal if he didn't, thor's helmet is something else entirely, its put of his iconic makeup like if supeman had no cape. sure, in the grand scheme of things its not a big deal but its better if he does.

let's be honest here, the helmet isn't like spidey's mask where I can 'understand' when the director rips it off as you can't see the actor emote but there is no reason whatsoever for no helmet, what, the hair stylist was miffed his/her awesome wig is hidden under a tin hat?

It does sound stupid, but as soon as I saw Garfield I thought he looked like Peter, but didn't know why. Now you've made me realise it is, in fact, his eyes.

loki looks the best in this movie. everything about the actor and the design is great. i hope loki does take control of the hulk and is the villain in avengers. i want to see much more of loki.
