Thus far, we have Jon Favreau on the Iron Man films, Louis Leterrier on The Incredible Hulk, Kenneth Branagh for Thor, Joe Johnston for Captain America and possibly Edgar Wright for Antman.
What directors would you like to see make further contributions to the film universe Marvel Studios is setting up? For movies like Nick Fury, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Runaways, etc?

I'd like them to bring Stephen Norrington back. Blade 1 gave me fond memories of the first Mortal Kombat.

I know Tom Hanks is a Marvel fan, and he did a great job directing THAT THING YOU DO, so I would like to see him directing a Marvel movie. Maybe Fox can get him onboard for the next FF movie!

Roman Coppola for DR. STRANGE, he's been wanting to do one for YEARS!
A del Toro on just about any Marvel movie. Boy, I wish he had taken Avi up on the FF when it was offered to him. |

Michael Bay should direct a Civil War trilogy.

Was this a serious suggestion?
Spielberg gets my nod for a WWII Cap movie.

A Ghost Rider film directed by a someone known for horror and Sci-Fi films.... sounds interesting (though, I have not seen any Carpenter films).

Yea The Thing is one of the greatest movies ever IMO.
Robert Rodriguez for Deadpool. That would be insane. |

Rodriguez could make a great Deadpool flick. Especially if he ditches this blue screen, 'only the actors are real' kick he's been on and goes back to the good old days of El Mariachi and Desperado... Where did that Rodriguez go?

Okay... none of this FOX bull**** guys. Only the stuff thats gonna tie into the Avengers/Marvel Studios universe. No F4. No Ghost Rider. Hell, Ghost Rider was dead to me before the movie even came out...

Thats true. Planet Terror's the best thing he's done since Dusk Til' Dawn... All this greenscreen stuff he does these days, it was fun for a while but now its just boring the tits off me.
![]() The Deadpool movie has to be shot for real. Real stunts. Real locations... It needs to be a big, balls-out mental movie... It shouldnt look like ****in' Spy Kids. |

HAHA yea you know that. They should definitely do it real, makes it more brutal and visceral. And it also keeps the budget down, and the lower the budget, more chance it will be R/18. But I doubt that.
