Just saying.
It does look a bit weird, but I like it as well. I'm glad its not some plastic looking batman type of cape.

Although the woolen cape thing also adds awesomeness, for it means that it really looks like it's fabric, and not rubberish leather (I.E, Superman Returns)

Agreed! They really need to utilize the capes in the films, Batman Begins/TDK - he glides with it, Thor - He's Royalty, and superman should be something similar

I believe this is the first time where nobody has actually said they don't like a costume for a film before. There are some people who like it less than others, but nobody has actually said that they do not like it.

Best reaction to a costume on this forum yet.

I'm sorry to be so negative, but after the shock of finding out that there is a picture of Thor released, and then staring at it for a while, slight dissapointment comes up...

that's simply because there is nothing to not like.

I can't stop looking at it. the awesomeness cannot be described in words.

edit: wolfman's post snuck in there before mine. I wasn't reacting to him...

Well of course, once the shock effect goes away, we'll start to see a few complaints and what not.

If it was summed up in words it'd be something like "..............O_O..........." or maybe *GAAAAAAASP*

I'm really dissapointed that they went with the current costume. I don't like those scale mail sleeves and the plastic looking circle plates. They should have at least make them a bit scrached or something, maybe then they wouldn't look so plasticky. And I hate the carvings in the plates.

But I am happy about the red cape and Chris Hemsworth, he looks great as Thor. But damn it with those sleeves...

Like has been said... Look at this here

Looks like plastic right? right, but that's not how it'll look in the film, there'll be some touch-ups.

Dig the suit! Awesome. I'm surprised they kept the sleaves. But they look kind of rubbery don't they?

Nope. First official photo of Iron Man from the first film was met with universal praise.

There always will be at least some slight nitpick - I prefer without beard/chainmail, why didnīt they show the helmet, etc.-, but itīs overall too true to the comics to be an excuse for any significant outrage.

I donīt think there was much criticism towards the Iron Man armor as well.

Chain mail arms are outstanding. Pays homage to Coipel's legendary design.

The only real negative comments revolve around the plastic bits on the arms, but I can't find any comments anywhere that says they don't like it at all.
