It does look a bit weird, but I like it as well. I'm glad its not some plastic looking batman type of cape.

Add to that the knowledge that Thor will be onscreen with Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, and lord knows who else, ......the insanity becomes monumentally magnificent...........Mighty Marvel marches on!!!!

Although the woolen cape thing also adds awesomeness, for it means that it really looks like it's fabric, and not rubberish leather (I.E, Superman Returns)

I believe this is the first time where nobody has actually said they don't like a costume for a film before. There are some people who like it less than others, but nobody has actually said that they do not like it.
Best reaction to a costume on this forum yet. |

I'm sorry to be so negative, but after the shock of finding out that there is a picture of Thor released, and then staring at it for a while, slight dissapointment comes up...

that's simply because there is nothing to not like.
I can't stop looking at it. the awesomeness cannot be described in words. edit: wolfman's post snuck in there before mine. I wasn't reacting to him...

I'm really dissapointed that they went with the current costume. I don't like those scale mail sleeves and the plastic looking circle plates. They should have at least make them a bit scrached or something, maybe then they wouldn't look so plasticky. And I hate the carvings in the plates.
But I am happy about the red cape and Chris Hemsworth, he looks great as Thor. But damn it with those sleeves... |

Dig the suit! Awesome. I'm surprised they kept the sleaves. But they look kind of rubbery don't they?

I donīt think there was much criticism towards the Iron Man armor as well.

Chain mail arms are outstanding. Pays homage to Coipel's legendary design.

The only real negative comments revolve around the plastic bits on the arms, but I can't find any comments anywhere that says they don't like it at all.
