Agreed, that's one thing Gears 3 got right. I'd like it if all the biggest games came out with 1000g plus 4 DLCs of 250g each for a total of 2000G.

Those multiplayer achievements in Brotherhood and always going to remain elusive to me. I'm about to start playing the multiplayer on Revelations more to work the achievements there. Outside of one Lost Archive achievement I've got all the single player achievements. Someday I'll get around to finding all the flags in the first game, which is all I'm missing there.

I finished a Windows Phone game called Harbor Master recently with some really hard achievements. There's one achievement to get 500 ships docked in one game which given my average of 40-60 (and previous high score one hundred and something) I thought was going to be totally impossible. If anything had happened near the end of that run I would have completely trashed my house! Another one was to dock 50,000 ships altogether across game modes. You have no idea how long that took!

If you need any help with the Revelations achievements I could help you out. The majority of the ones from the DLCs can be done with just two people in a private match.
RecyclopsCXVII is my GT if you're interested.

The Brotherhood achievements were tough, they would have been tougher if I had got them legitimately though. I just found 5 other guys that wanted them and we boosted them all.

I personally don't like when XBLA and WP games have really difficult or time consuming achievements. I get that some people want as much playtime as possible for what they paid for but I don't want to spend 100+ hours on a retail game much less a arcade one.

I've got a game on my iPhone called Tower Madness, it's a tower defense game of Aliens trying to abduct sheep. Each level has a total of 10 sheep that can be saved. One of the achievements (the only one I don't have) is save 10,000 sheep. I like the game a lot, but playing 1,000 matches of it is annoying. I think I'm around 26 or 27% done with it.

Might do that, if you get a request from Amazing1962, that's me.

I hate it! Time required should go hand in hand with quality of the title. I don't mind a tonne of time in a top title but anything else 15 hours-ish should be more than enough. Some of the WP games I've bought recently are really annoying...loads of achievements for 1g, 2g, 3g. After a load of time I have like 15g!

I've noticed a lot of WP7 games have one crazy cumulative achievement like that. Bejewelled has one for collecting 1 MILLION gems. Love the game but that is just stupid.

Ha, didn't even notice that. There will probably be more dlc achievements for MW3 though. Hopefully it evens out.

Been playing a lot of other games but I believe I'm now one evening/night away from 2000/2000 on this game! Need 70k XP. If anyone wants to join me tonight all are welcome.

Done! 2000/2000

It looks so good! Better than a 1490 or 1310 for sure

I call hax.

I'm close to getting 1000G on Marvel UA retail. Getting the actual 1250G isn't going to hppen anytime soon since the DLC isn't available to buy anymore and the Gold Edition goes for $100 + dollars on eBay. That's dumb.

Ah nice one, completed Reach & LA Noire at same time. 2 big games

No prob, thank you too.

I just need to do the Legendary solo campaign on that now.

Wish there was a general achievement thread rather than just 100%. I'm more Mr 95%

I gotta say, not having any fun with Catwoman's Predator Challenges. Just so annoying. Can't imagine having to do them over again in the Campaign Challenges with mutators. Whoever came up with the the lazy idea of having to do all the challenges 8 times needs to get slapped hard. I also finished the "Harley's Revenge" DLC. Only 5 achievements away from 100% the retail of Saints Row The Third. I'm going to alternate between the two games' dlcs.

Only two I've completed are "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions". I really need to go get some points and buy the Nightwing, Robin, and Harley's Revenge DLC for Arkham City. Done with the main game and the Catwoman DLC.

Been on a Sonic kick lately, downloading a few of his games.

My list of 100%'s now is;
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 2
Sonic and Knuckles
Sonic CD
Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4

Dead Rising
Batman Arkham City
Rayman Origins
Lego Batman
Duke Nukem Forever
Sonic 4 Episode 1
Bionic Commando
Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions
Batman Arkham Asylum
Call of Duty 2
Plants vs. Zombies
Dead Rising 2: Case Zero
Bioshock
Assassin's Creed 2
Shadow Complex
Banjo Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
King Kong

Working on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, I've 110% and completed all the trials on the first disc, half the game to go! One took about a week and a half for disc one though, so hoping disc two won't take too much longer.

I'm almost finished on the Insanity playthrough on the original Mass Effect. If I can get that then everything else is straightforward, weapon kills/level etc.

Great game. Will try and max out this series if I can.
