I saw it last night.
It's definitly a massive, massive mess. It's definitly retarded beyond belief. It definitly has two of the most annoying characters brought to screen in recent years (care to guess who?!). It's everything bad about a Bay film turned up to 11. But, somehow, i still enjoyed it. I guess i was in the right frame of mind for it, being high and a little drunk and all. But i doubt i'll ever watch it again - well maybe i'll cop the BluRay just to see the robot rucks in high definition. But seriously guys - keep your expectations low. Turn your brain off. Have a few beers with your friends first or smoke a spliff. Go into this film knowing that it's going to be nothing but a very loud rollercoaster ride - completley and utterly shallow, terribly written, but with awesome special effects and a VERY awesome fight in the forest. And Megan Fox's ass. Don't forget the ass. |

With Bay still in the director's chair were any TF fans clamouring for a darker movie actually think they were going to get that?

^ Bay said him self in a video interview, and I quote "The fans wanted darker - they're gonna get darker". If you need to hear that for your self I can try and find it on you tube, but I clearly remember him saying it.

^And that's why people don't pay attention to critics anymore...
Be a freaking professional and write a damn review of the film...

I don't get it... First Terminator, and now Transformers? I guess critics just don't like robots anymore. Oh well, I'm still seeing this movie and I'm sure I'll love it.

![]() He could have added the some Bay trademarks though. After banging his head into the wall he should have had a 360 degree slo-mo camera pan of himself getting up. |

^ One COULD have hoped this film was better than the first, God knows that wasn't a hard task, but even that Bay couldn't manage. I'll see it still - after downing a 6-pack!

The first film was action, explosions, fighting robots, and Megan Fox. Guess what this film has done? It has put in more action, more explosions, more fighting robots, and more Megan Fox. It has topped the first one. If you want a nice character driven story with strong themes and gripping sub plots...look else where.

Naite, if you are honestly shocked that this movie doesn't have a great story then I feel for you.

Can anybody tell me what the fight between Optimus and the Fallen is like? I mean, Optimus does use Jetfire's parts right? I would think that that would be the highlight of the film.

Why didn't they delve more into that freaken cube! Where it origins from, and such. there's a nice story line right there. Bay is way too focused on the movie looking good rather than anything else. |

This movie does delve more in the Allspark??? It goes deeper with the Matrix being hunted down which dealt with the cube and why the cube was here. Plus, it gives more insight into the history of the Transformers and even the original 13.

It's good and the Fallen has no chance...only thing is there is no tension. Now the Forest fight is the highlight, Prime hasn't got the aid of Jetfire's parts and proceeds to take on three Decepticons at once. Tense and emotionally thrilling.

Michael Bay keeping is Classic
There are two robots in the film called Mudflap and Skids, and despite being red and green, respectively, they are voiced in a way that clearly designates them to be the “black” robots. Also, Skids has a gold front tooth (no, I’m serious) and both cannot read. |
