Some pretty weird wild stuff going on.
We all know the game is in development so I don't get why they haven't announce it yet.

Yea I think IO is under the impression we are all idiots. Even after David Bateson came out and said he had recorded voice work for the game they denied even working with him. I'll be glad once the announcement is finally out, which appears will be at E3

I'd have to agree. Another Hitman would easily be at the top of my most wanted lists. It's my fav franchise and features my favorite character from a video game.

Hitman viral campaign comes to an end, points to E3 reveal.

I think it's finally happening.

E3 can't get here soon enough.

Legacy Of Kain: Defaince seemed to be a fantastic game. Too bad it bombed. I was playing Contracts recently and it's aged alot better than Hitman 2. I don't really understand why this gets it so tight from folk, the levels are probably the best out of any Hitman game in my opinion. I have a feeling the new Hitman game will be turned into a lame wall-cover action game, they will do something to bugger it up. Too me Hitman was thriller, the best bits were when you weren't shooting at all. It's the tense build up of just walking around before hand. Keeping a save limit is a good idea, otherwise the risk/reward is gone.

I agree. Id go through each level and just watch what the target does, then id replay the level and actually take him out. But i love just being right next to the target in a simple disguise knowing that the target has NO idea what im about to do.

There are a few things Hitman needs that other games have added, for instance is does need a cover system, maybe not for combat but for observation. It would look a lot more authentic if 47 could spy on his target by pressing against a wall and slightly peering around the corner. They also need some form of 'Mark and Execute'. 47 is a world class shot and the games make that difficult for the player to feel, especially when there are a few people in 47's range. The dude is good enough to drop 3 or 4 guys before they even get their weapons from their holsters, that needs to be represented.

Other than those two additions, i dont feel the formula needs to be mucked with at all. Iv played through Bloody Money countless times and the game still has yet to go stale. Im so stoked for this next title.

Man, about damn time. The current generation needs a new Hitman sooo badly. This franchise is too good to go this long between games.

47, sneaking and blasting his way through the white house, pretty much set the bar as far as highest security locations.

Yes!!!

Seriously, how a follow up to BM has taken so long is a massive mystery. In fact, as soon as I finish work I'm going home to play it! Cant wait to see more of this new game.

I've come in and out of several Blood Money relapses, having to kill all free time like 47 kills a target. I need 5 to come out. Now.

Can't wait for part 5. Blood Money is up there with the best games of all time. I've come back to Blood Money so many times over the past few years. And I can't wait to see what this generation of power is going to do for the Hitman Universe. The detail in the first 4 were fantastic, and with part 5 i can only imagine it'll blow us all away.

Which one of the games was that mission in?

It was the last mission. You finally got to confront the 'other' hitman.

They had some interesting missions where you wouldn't know your targets locations, until you did some work for it, like murder of crows. I would want scenarios like: a federal prisoner transfer, foreign dignitaries publicly touring a famous locale, hunting a couple who stole drug money, and other random scenarios that wouldn't require an all encompassing storyline just about 47. Only this time, you can really plan out each job. The agency no longer exists, so you have to do all of your jobs completely alone. That means profiling locations/targets/scenarios, planting tools/weapons/disguises/etc, and overall planning for the best and worst case turnouts. It plays the same, you just have more control, you know the layouts, you build the traps, you carry out the job how you want to, not the set amount of ways the devs gave you. You may not know exactly everything about how your targets will act in the location, but with enough research, you could situate it so they must come into contact with you.

one cool thing they should add is more dynamic responses.

like different responses to what you do. also, it would be cool if there was like a time limit on killing a target; for example before he leaves or something.
