I saw the interview right after he got off the plane, and no he didn't sound like his commercials...he was also interviewed on Fox Business News Channel, and the only time he sounded like his commecials was when they asked him to do a commercial about FBN for them...so in answer to you question, no.

When I found out about this on Sunday morning I was shocked. I've been watching Pitchmen and Billy Mays was an awesome guy and I am saddened by his passing.
