Default Robots in Disguise, Transformers RPG - Season I IC Thread

Robots in Disguise - Season I

Gamemaster - Syn (Mercenary)
Assistant Gamemaster - Eddie Brock
Assistant Gamemaster - Venom160

Rules

- This RPG is based off of movie continuity. The comics for the movie are cannon as well as both films, Transformers 2007 and Revenge of the Fallen.
- All characters not yet introduced into this continuity may be "created" and then played.

- When introducing a character from non movie continuity, the character you have chosen can be any vehicle you want, as long as the character has been portrayed as that vehicle in it’s past continuity. Example: Optimus can be a tractor trailer, not a tank.

- The RPG takes places two months after the end of Revenge of the Fallen.
- The RPG takes place on Earth. However, because the Nemesis is stationed on another planet within the milky way and another main place of activity is Cybertron, it is alright to have stories take place on different worlds.

- No killing. Unnamed faceless NPC's are okay, but not major or taken characters. They may be vital to someone else's arc, or someone may want to take them up as a character.

- You must post once every two weeks, though it is preferred that you post more. If two weeks pass without a post by you, without prior notice, your character becomes available to other.

-Be serious, no slander, or impractical actions from your character. Example; "Hey optimus, I found energon. It’ll fuse us together to make ultimoptimus!" (No Bay Bashing on this rule...)

- Human's are playable characters aswell, i.e. Mikela, Sam, Lennox, etc.

- All regular SHH! Forum rules also apply. So no obscenities.

- Transform, and ROLL OUT! -

*This thread is for in character posts only. If you have a comment to make or would like to join the RPG, follow this link to the out of character thread.*

"Sacrafice. A compulsory course of action that leads a being to give up something important to them in order to do what is necessary. In war, sacrafice is an every day way of life. Some sacrafice their homes, their land and possessions, others must sacrafice their saftey. Some must even sacrafice the most important thing - their lives."

"In this war I have witnessed sacrafice by great soldiers and leaders. I myself have even experienced this concept myself. But, perhaps, what is most interesting is the action of sacrafice shown by the humans. In my time here, they have shown me much - proving by the actions of only a few that the destiny of this race is honorable and worthy. In many ways, the actions of these humans is moving. Their bodies are not big nor strong, but fragile. However, their spirit, the resilience and strength of their courage more than makes up for their weaknesses. It's inspiring to me, showing that every race has something to offer to the universe."

"Since our battle with the Fallen, and our victory against his evil, I have gained much. The Matrix of Leadership now resides in me, resting safely next to my spark. Containing the sparks of leaders past, I have a new responsibility - a new power. I can feel them, guiding me from another world and time. Their voices are subtle, more quiet then a whisper and easy to ignore. I try to listen to them, hoping to gain direction from the wisdom of our ancient race. As I hear their faint voices, I'm reminded of my own mortality. I remember that I am no more immortal then they, and my time in this world is short. I must remember to use this time I have wisely, responsibly. In this war I have learned that death waits for no one - it doesn't take sides or make deals. It simply comes at one's time, waiting to take them to their eternity. As I think on these thoughts, I'm reminded of the importance of life. All beings deserve to live, and no one has the right to decide who is or is not worthy of this."

Los Angeles, California

Night. A time for rest, for quiet and peace. But this city never sleeps, resting for no more than hours at a time. Her residents are always on the move - going about their daily tasks even at the late hours of the day. Cars speed down the highways, driving up and down the many winding roads of the great city. Their lights flash through the darkness, a blurr that is easily missed, and just as easily ignored.

Under the cover of the shadows a figure moves about in an open parking lot of an abandoned lab. With a hiss a truck pulls to a heavy stop admist the empty lot. A cool grey smoke rolls off the hood, wavering over the shiny blue steel. The faint light of the street lamps glows, glistening as a beacon. The light reflects off the truck, revealing it's flaming decals. As the metal shimmers it brings it to life, making the painted flames appear to almost burn in the darkness.

As the quiet seems to reach its peak, the sound of a revving engine breaks the peace. A white mustang suddenly speeds through the open gates at the far edge of the lot, blazing through the empty spots in the parking lot and barrelling toward the truck. As it nears the vehicle, it quickly veers and comes to a screeching halt. The mustang slowly rolls around the vehicle, moving in a tactful circle like a perimeter. After a few seconds, the car slows, coming to an easy halt in front of the semi. Its headlights suddenly blink, flickering on and off, on and off. The semi truck's lights flash on in a blinding light, only to quickly shut off.

The radio inside the semi truck comes to life, squeeking and squeeling as the stations change. Suddenly, a voice comes through, it's tone deep and stoic. "I was wondering when you'd arrive." It says in an amused voice.

"You know me, Prime." The radio from the mustang responds. "I'm always up to something."

"How true..." Suddenly, the plates on the semi truck expand. The tires spin and the truck seems to collapse, breaking down into different pieces and parts. As the parts shift and change, they reveal something else - a different form, a body. In merely seconds the truck transforms, taking the form of the powerful Autobot leader Optimus Prime. Metal face plates shift back to reveal the being's mouth, moving with the sound of clanking and sliding metal. "Your list of projects never seems to end."

As quickly as the truck, the mustang's form begins to change. It flips up into the air, the pieces changing in mid air as arms and legs sprout from it's sides. The car doors flip to its back, the tires firmly planting themselves at the creature's joints. Its feet touch the ground smoothly, and the transformer stands up right with blue glowing eyes. "I like to keep busy," he says with a grin.

"It's good to see you, Wheeljack," Prime says with a smile. "How is the east quadrant?"

"Not good, Prime." He says with remorse. "Our unit was all but destroyed. Silverbolt and Skydive survived, but the others...may Primus be merciful." Prime frowns, his shoulders lowering slightly. He raises his arm and rests his large hand on his friend's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Wheeljack. They were like sons to you."

"Thank you." He says respectfully. "I only wish I knew they were at rest."
"They are, my friend." Prime says with certainty. "I can count on it." Wheeljack smiles, a look of hope coming over him. Prime smiles back, glad to see his old friend's demeanor has returned. "So," he starts, removing his hand from the Autobot's shoulder. "Where are Silverbolt and Skydive?"

"Recon," Wheeljack admits. "They're scouting for new forms, to be specific."
"New forms?" Prime questions. "Didn't they get new forms upon arrival?"
"Well...yes, but they weren't satisfied. They're convinced they can do better than a crop duster and an F-11 Tiger."
Prime chuckles. "Those two are never satisfied."
"Only the best," he grins. "So what is it you called me here for, sir? Did you want to ask me to join this team you've formed? ...Nest, I believe?"

"No, nothing like that." Prime says sternly. "I know how you feel about the humans."
"Medling fleshballs," Wheeljack scoffs. "They make one machine that can imitate your voice and they think they understand the specifics of astrometromicmechanics."
"I can't disagree with you, there. I know how much you hate it when one of us tries to help you."
"I leave the strategy to you, you leave the science to me, sir."
"Of course," Prime smirks. "But, I asked you here for a few reasons. I have an assignment for you."
"I'm yours, sir."

Prime nods, affirming a serious tone. He reaches to his chest, pushing his metal plates aside with his fingers. As he pulls back his arm, he reveals a thin metal sliver from his chest. As Wheeljack stares, he soon realizes what Prime holds.

"Primus..."
"This is all that is left of the Allspark. Well, one of two pieces. The other is with Megatron, keeping him alive."
"Megatron has a piece of the Allspark?"
"Yes, inside him. We've never done any tests on the cube, so its true powers are unknown."
"We know it gives life." Wheeljack responds quickly. "But...the cube has been around longer than us. Could it be a renewable source of energy?"
"It fueled our world for millenia," Prime says with regret. "Which is why I'm worried."
"If Megatron has a piece of the cube inside him...you're worried he could be immortal?"
"Yes. I fear that with the cube inside him, Megatron has become ultimately unstopable. Never tiring, never needing to refuel or be restored."
"Yes...yes..." Wheeljack ponders, rubbing the metallic sharp chin at the base of his face. "Mmm...curious. Do you think it could have made him stronger, aswell?"
"Another fact I am concerned about." Prime holds out the sliver and places it in Wheeljack's hand. He closes Wheeljack's fingers around it as if to say "take care of it." Wheeljack grips it closely, holding it carefully in his palm. "I need you to run tests. Find out just what this thing is capable of. If we're to win this war, we have to know our enemy inside and out. I used to...but now the tides have turned...and I fear they are in Megatron's favor."

"Can't savor any victory, can we?" He says solemnly. "Alright, Optimus. I'll do what I can." Wheeljack places the sliver in a compartment on his thigh. Suddenly, his body transforms, breaking down to his vehicle form. The plates come back together, the doors closing back over the body of the car. Soon, the white mustang is all that remains. "I'll inform you as soon as I discover anything."

"Thank you, my friend." Optimus says proudly. "Give Silverbolt and Skydive my regards."
"Will do, Prime. Stay safe." Wheeljack's motor rumbles as he speeds off toward the chainlink gates. He makes a rough turn out of the lot onto the road and soon disapears in the lights of the highway. Optimus watches until he loses sight, staring intently until the last. He lets out a heavy sigh, his eyes looking away. He puts his hand to his chest, resting his fingers just above the matrix held safely inside him. "Give me guidence..." he whispers to himself. "If things are as I feared and Megatron is immortal...Primus help us all." Prime transforms, his parts and pieces moving back into place. He takes the form of a semi truck once more, his motor growling loudly. He turns slowly and takes off toward the road, heading back to his allies and troops. "Autobots," he starts, opening his radio channel. "This is Optimus Prime. I am returning to NEST headquarters. Await further commands. Over and out."

Almost countless cycles in the deep black would drive lesser beings insane. Sometimes it seemed though that scarcely a nanoclick could go by without running into another Decepticon. Yet he hadn't seen another Autobot in so long. He had hoped that meant they had finally forced the Decepticon's from Cybertron. However then just a couple cycles ago he recieved word from Optimus calling the autobots to a small planet called Earth.

It had been a long Journey as he had been in the outer sectors when he first recieved the transmission. Other than the oocasional fight with a Decepticon or two it had been a straight flight. Finally he had entered this small solar system and approached the third planet from the sun. A blue planet unlike anything he had seen and a world he would normally never pay attention to but this is where he was summoned and thus it was where he would go.

"Air Raid to Optimus Prime, entering atmosphere now and reporting for duty sir."

He initialized his coolant systems as he breached the atmoshpere bright flames from the friction flowing over his form. Entering the lower atmosphere over an Emerald Isle his systems cooling as he activated active radar and scanned the area. In less than a microcycle he had found something that would serve as a suitable form on this planet. It was moving fast but he was faster as he flew over it scanning it's systems.

His body adjusting metal seems breaking as the pieces slid back revealing his protoform. Clicking and whilring into place metal sliding into place and curving along his upper and lower lines
. His wings slid back and his afterburners lit as he took off gaining altitude again breaking mach 1, mach 2, still gaining speed anyone who knew better would known that soon this new F-15SE would be flying faster then it's frame would allow. Then anyone who didn't know Air Raid didn't know there were few who could match him for speed when he was in full flight.

"Form selected, what are the rendevous coordinates?"

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

By the time we hit Broad Street, we're doing well over seventy miles per hour. I weave between cars, doing my best not to cause any collateral damage. My target isn't so conscientious. He broadsides anything in his way, leaving a trail of carnage in his wake. It only strengthens my resolve. Police cruisers are in pursuit, but they're never going to catch us. No. The responsibility falls on me now.

VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

My radio pops to life as I give chase. The target makes a sharp right turn, and I can't react quick enough. I continue going straight until I see an alleyway. Slamming on the brakes, I powerslide into the alleyway. After dodging a few dumpsters, I emerge on the other side - right behind my target. A big rig driver lays on his horn as I nearly get slagged. I fishtail a bit before resuming my chase.

My target hits the handbrake and performs a perfect 180-degree turn. Facing me, he flips it into reverse and starts flying backwards down the city street.

This is my best chance to strike. I ease on the brake slowly before beginning my transformation. Mechanical pieces twist and turn. My wheels stop spinning and lock into place. The hood folds down and separates into two pieces. As the final touches are perfected, my eyes blink to life.

My target performs a similar transformation. Upon completion, he announces, "I'm impressed! I didn't think you'd be able to follow me for so long." His hand reforms into a cannon. "Well, there's no point in leading you on any further, so do you have anything left to say, Autobot?"

I grin. "A lot, actually," I announce as I draw my handgun. "And the name's Bluestreak." I fire once, missing as he dodges. I tuck and roll to avoid a giant blast from his cannon. The crater in the street smokes threateningly. "I take it you're one of these 'Stunticons' I've heard so much about?" I ask unimpressed.

"You heard right," he acknowledges. As he lines up his shot, he says, "I'm Wildrider, and you're in for a bumpy one." His blast soars past my head, turning a lightpost into molten metal. He sneers and lines up another shot.

With my free hand, I aim my machine gun. Bullets riddle his chest and face, but they seem more like annoyances than actual threats. As I lean to my left, I fire my handgun. It hits him right in the torso. He grunts as he stumbles.

I attempt to come nearer, but a cannon blast which grazes my shoulder makes me think better of it. I look over at the charred metal. I make a mental note not to take one of those blasts to a vital spot. Wildrider aims again, but I shoot him in the shoulder - disabling that arm momentarily.

I once again bring myself closer to his collapsed form. My handgun is inches away from his face. I grit my teeth as I realize this one's for home. I look at the Decepticon symbol on his chest, and the anger bubbles inside me. My free hand squeezes into a fist as I tighten my grip on the trigger.

"Ever killed a bot before, junior?" Wildrider coughs, noticing my hesitation. It's true. I've fought several Decepticons, but I've never actually killed one. I've never had a chance to. Years ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of even fighting. But this is different. They made this personal. "Go ahead. It's easier than you think."

That's when I'm blindsided by something. I collapse in the street, knocking several cars aside. I can't see what's going on, but I can hear it.

"Motormaster?"

"Let's go. I'm tired of pulling you out of trouble."

"What about the Autobot?"

"Forget him. We have bigger bots to fry."

I hear Wildrider transform back into his alternate mode, and the two Stunticons race off. Moments later, police sirens begin to surround me. With a groan, I pull myself up and transform back into the Nissan. With a quick burnout, I take off into the city, hoping to get away from the local police.

I need to find Prime.

Californian Desert

The sun has just begun to rise over the mountains in the distance. The area is deserted, long-forgotten by civilization. That's why no one notices when five objects appear in the sky. Like shooting stars, they burn up in the atmosphere - creating a twinkling light that can be seen from the ground. Little pieces of burning space rock break off and begin pelting the ground below. It becomes clear that whatever they are, the five meteorites are going to reach land.

With incredible speed, the meteorites race by - becoming hotter with every second. The first clears a ten-foot fence, crashing through an abandoned snack stand. The second travels even further, burying a wooden bench at the bottom of a crater. The third doesn't clear the fence - instead crashing through it. The fourth ricochets off a large metallic structure - the remains of a rollercoaster. The fifth collides with the old ferris wheel, collapsing it.

Silence persists for a moment. Then, something begins to move. Each of the meteorites systematically begins to spin and twirl, shaking loose pieces of space rock. Soon, all that's left in their wake are strange, metallic beings. They begin to take the rough form of two-legged things, with two arms and a head. They are of varying heights and with subtle differences in color and shape.

"That hurt," the first announces simply. His voice resonates like one over a loudspeaker or of one speaking into a synthesizer. He rubs the top of his head and examines his surroundings. "What is this strange place?" he asks no one in particular. The abandoned amusement park is unfamiliar to him.

Without waiting for the other four to get their bearings, the first being starts to walk around the place. He runs his finger along the rollercoaster, wondering what the contraption could possibly be. Beneath him, many buildings still stand - much too small for a being his size, however. He frowns. Wherever he was, it certainly wasn't a planet built for his type.

That's when he sees it. The strange creature fascinates him, but he wonders why it isn't moving. In reality, it was once an animatronic. Placed at the entrance to the rollercoaster, it was designed to create fascination and wonder in the park's guest. Now, even in its current state, it still holds that power over the strange being.

"Me Grimlock like!" the being announces happily. His scanners examine every inch of the mammoth creature. After the data is processed, the being starts to twist and turn once more. In mere moments, the metallic being is replaced with a mechnical Tyrannosaurus Rex. "Me Grimlock king!" Grimlock transforms back into his robot form.

Behind him, the other four - Snarl, Swoop, Slag, and Sludge - had discovered similar animatronics which caught their eye. The five stood there, reunited once more on this unfamiliar planet. They all looked to Grimlock, waiting for their leader to explain what to do now.

"Me Grimlock tired of cars and trucks and jets. Autobots. Decepticons. Me Grimlock don't care anymore!" He begins to pace, thinking of what he's going to say now. He didn't want to show it - for fear of being undermined - but the truth was that Grimlock didn't know what to do any more than the rest of them. "No more, me Grimlock say! From now on, we are..."

His eyes found the entrance sign to the amusement park, Dinoland.

"DINOBOTS!"

Newark, New Jersey

I weave in and out of traffic, chasing the bastards in front of me down. Arcee and I have been tracking these two, disguised as Human Mini Coopers, for almost a week now, a search that's led us across the US.

"Arcee, force them out of the city. We're going to need some space. I don't want another incident like Pittsburgh," I relay to my partner. No sooner does the sentence end when the motorcycle next to me blurs by me next to one of the diminutive Decepticons further up the street.

She manages to force them off the highway, and onto an old road that leads into the Meadowlands. The sound of metal rubbing against metal fills the night sky, as my Corvette disguise gives way to my true, robotic form. I grip my two blades tightly as Arcee takes up position next to me, and the Decepticons pose in defensive stances a short distance away.

I push of the ground with my wheeled feet and rocket towards our foes, firing my wrist mounted gun in the process. One leaps over my head, and is engaged by Arcee.

The other one stands his ground and attempts to take me down with a pathetic burst from his shoulder mounted cannon. I brush the shots aside, and drive my shoulder into his chest, sending him flying into the swamp's mud.

"You aren't the brightest of Megatron's lackies, are you?" I ask while he rush at me in a fit of rage.

Mistake.

Once he's in range, I toss my blade from my right hand, impaling him through the chest, his spark on the tip of my blade, which protrudes through his back.

I glance back to see Arcee finish off her mark, just as a transmission comes through my comm.

"Autobots," I hear Optimus's commanding voice say. "This is Optimus Prime. I am returning to NEST headquarters. Await further commands. Over and out."

I respong with a communication of my own, "Optimus, Sideswipe reporting in. Arcee and I have taken down the spies and are now en route to NEST headquarters. Sideswipe out."

The planet Quintessa is described among most species as a cybernetic hellhole, meant only for scum and the parasites that mooch off them. Among this scum is a cast of Quintessons that have taken it apon themselves to provide law and order to the planet. The idea, no matter how noble, was quickly warped and perverted to the point that innocence was never found in these trials. The judgement always resulted in death. It was a certain "judge" that brought me to this miserable planet. I was hired by the only bot to survive judgment and escape the planet. He wants me to bring him this judge's head. The risk is high but the considerably large amount of credits and energon made my desicion for me. The bot's one warning echoed through my processor as I enter the Judge's personal chambers.

"Beware the Sharkticons."

I scoff to myself. I've faced Megatron in single combat, I'm sure I can handle some measly fish.

Six cycles later.....

A tenticled creature runs out of the golden building as explosions rip large holes in the alien structure. The strong figure holds a squirming shark-like machine through the hole letting it growl and tear at his arm before finally putting his plasma cannon to it's cranium. With a searing flash the Sharkticon goes motionless.

"Hm pathetic."

The Autobot hears the growls of approaching Sharkticon reinforcements.

"Slag..."

Spotting his prey from his vantage point Rodimus lunges into open space. As the ground rushes up to meet him his body starts to change. Components shift and move inward quickly replaced with smooth chrome. By the time he hits the ground the robotic lifeform is gone and a Cybertronian draggster sits in it's place. With an inhuman roar of it's engine the draggster peels off after the Quintesson. He covers the distance in nanoclicks before blasting into the air, shifting back into his robotic form, and lands a single explosive charge to the ground beneath the judge's feet. The Quintesson lands hard on his back and stares at his attacker, fear visible on his alien face.

"No! Halt this instant!"

Rodimus silently advances on the the shivering fool.

"What do you want! Credits? Power? Spare me and you'll own this planet! Just tell me what you want and its' yours!"

Rodimus' face shifts into what goes as a cybertronian grin.

"You know what I want?"

Hope burns into the Quintesson's chest.

"What?"

"Your head."

With a loud metalic cling a blade extends from his hand.

"NO!"

The Quintesson's scream is quickly silenced as blue blood pours onto the ground.

VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

"Riding along in my automobile, my baby beside me at the wheel. I stole a kiss at the turn of a mile, my curiosity running wild, crusin' and playin' the radio, with no particular place to go."

Both Sam and Mikalea laugh as I take the curves a little faster than I should.

Doesn't matter, it's a beautiful day and after the stuff that we went though a few months ago, it's some relaxation that has been earned.

I quickly turn the radio as I recieve a message from Prime.

"Message from Starfleet, Captain........Autobots, this is Optimus Prime. I am returning to NEST headquarters. Await further commands. Over and out."

"You wanna see Optimus, Bee?" Sam asks.

"Yeeehaww!"

"Alright. Let's see what they got going on."

I slow down and do a quick U-Turn in the highway, heading towards LA.

Deep space aboard the Nemesis,

"Prime," the voice sneered. He has never hated anything more than him. He has stood in his way too many times and have defeated him at every step he took. Most troubling was Prime and his new upgrades. He defeated the Fallen so easily and wounded Megatron. He has spent the since then repairing himself.

The Fallen, there was something that was not missed. With the Fallen out of the way Megatron now was in full command of the Decepticons. He didn't have to bow to anybody.

The Decepticons have reached a new low. The Autobots have slaughter mass amounts of Decepticons all in service to a low race. The Autobots stand not only in the way of Megatron but they have become a hinderance to their own race. Rather that serve as Transformers that brought down to to the bidding and whims of the flesh creatures, the humans.

He has never loath something more than these tiny creatures. A child has beaten back his plans twice, this time he will not be as forgiving. The human race has reached its end and it will be by the hand of Megatron. Decepticons will rule the Earth as a new Cybertron. Autobots will be their pets and slaves while the humans will be exterminated.

"All Decepticons, to my throne room." He spoke into the communicator. He will show the humans and Autobots no mercy. The full force of his wrath will strike upon the Earth and will watch it burn. He presses a few buttons on a console.

"Come to me, my weapon."

The hunger...the insatiable hunger. As our energy reserves dwindle, out bodies become weaker...fatigued. Every day it becomes harder and harder to do menial tasks that were once only an after thought. The Nemesis, our ship, the vessel that brought us out into this sector is running low on energon. Without the energon, the ship will soon die. Without the ship, we will perish too. We must find energon. We must find sustinence.

"This is insanity..." I grumble, walking down the dark shadowy halls of the ship. "Megatron is obsessed. His thoughts now only dwell on Optimus and his friends. He has no regard for his own men, now. No regard for his loyal servants." I spit oil to the floor, disgusted by my leader's actions. He is not fit to lead our ranks. He must be removed if the Decepticons are to survive.

The message comes through on my reciever, his command heard and obeyed. I place my finger on the radio and send confirmation back, "Yes, Lord Megatron." I say, forcing a reverent and obedient tone. "I obey...for now."

As I make my way to the throne room, my mind wanders. I feel the pangs of pain in my body, the injuries not yet healed from our encounters. Two mini cycles and my wounds have yet to heal. It is apparent...we are truly the underdog now.

As I come to the doors to the room, I pause. I growl beneath my breath, aggravated deeply by my whole situation. Those damn constructicons...those damn damn fools. They wasted their lives to bring back Megatron, when if they had only followed me we would be dinning in the company of Prime's cold, lifeless corpse. The only justice in the situation is that they have perished, just as all who worship Megatron do.

The doors part before me and I step inside. I approach my leader, plastering a false grin across my face. "Greetings, my liege." I say as I drop to one knee. "What is your brilliant scheme this time?"

GRIMLOCK

Grimlock leans back in his makeshift throne. As his first act as the leader of the newly-dubbed 'Dinobots,' he ordered his team to turn Dinoland into a livable environment for the oversized beings. While they got to work, Grimlock pulled together a pile of scraps and made a throne suitable for someone of his stature - figuratively and literally.

"Autobots. Decepticons." Grimlock scoffs. "And they think me Grimlock stupid. Me Grimlock not stupid. This war is stupid. They destroy Cybertron, and for what?" Grimlock clenches his fist. "Then, they try to convince me Grimlock and Dinobots that their side is best. Hah."

The other Dinobots offer a chuckle.

Grimlock shakes his head. "Decepticons started the war. Autobots lost the Cube. Everyone at fault. Everyone except me Grimlock." Then, quickly, "And other Dinobots, of course. We just do our job, and what we get? Nothing. Our home is destroyed, and we're forced to float aimlessly through the stars."

Grimlock hangs his head. It was so irritating - being the only one who seemingly recognized this basic truth. Grimlock is a warrior by nature, but this war has driven him to the point of indifference. He could only stand mindless fighting for so long before he realized the pointlessness of it.

"Me Grimlock not stupid. They are." The Dinobots nod in agreement. Of course, they would agree with anything their leader says. They knew better than to not to. "Me Grimlock thought Sentinel Prime could end the war. Me Grimlock join Autobots! Hah. What a waste." With his claw, Grimlock scrapes out the Autobot symbol on his chest. The Dinobots, taking this cue, do the same.

"No more war for the Dinobots. We stay here, in Dinoland, until they're all dead. Then, who's stupid?"

Swoop, who wasn't present for Grimlock's monologue, approaches. He appears frenzied. "Grimlock! I've caught a Decepticon intruder!" he announces.

Grimlock immediately stands. "Decepticons? Here? In Dinoland?!" he asks outraged. For a moment, his visor glows an even brighter shade of red as he stomps after Swoop. "Where is this Decepticon?" Grimlock demands as Swoop comes to a stop.

Swoop bends down and drags the battered form of a robot in front of Grimlock. Grimlock stands straight and peers at the defeated being from behind his visor. The Decepticon says nothing. He merely looks around at the robots surrounding him.

"You dare intrude on Dinobot sanctuary?" Grimlock accuses. His visor retracts, and his glowing red eyes can be seen for the first time. They are burning with anger. "What have you to say for yourself?"

"I have to investigate all new arrivals," the sheepish Decepticon explains. "It's my mission - under direct orders from Megatron!" He recognizes the perilous situation he's now in. These bots, whoever they were, didn't seem friendly. Even more unsettling was their lack of insignia. "Please, if you wish to be left alone, I'll tell my master! Just so long as you're not Autobots..."

The Dinobots break out into laughter. Once it subsides, Grimlock asks, "You think we're Autobots?" He glows with malicious glee. "Do you really believe that?"

The Decepticon examines them once more. If they were Autobots, they were the most frightening ones he'd ever seen. "No, no! Of course not! And I'll be sure to tell Megatron--"

Grimlock drives his heel into the Decepticon's vocal processor, silencing him. As he draws his powersword, he explains, "You'll tell Megatron nothing. Me Grimlock no want him to know we're here." Grimlock motions to Dinoland. "Me Grimlock create this sanctuary to get away from Megatron!"

He knows the look in the Decepticon's eyes. He has seen it many times. Fear. Crippling, overwhelming fear. Grimlock isn't used to seeing it in a Decepticon. Megatron must be getting lax with the kinds of bots he accepts into his ranks. Grimlock was sure that if Megatron could see this intruder now, he'd be more than happy with Grimlock's treatment of him.

"Why aren't you happy, Decepticon? Me Grimlock giving you chance to die for your leader, Megatron!" Grimlock announces sarcastically. The Dinobots chuckle viciously. "Isn't that what all Decepticons want?" Grimlock drives his powersword into the Decepticon's throat and severs his head. He returns his powersword to its sheath on his back.

"Sludge, place head at entrance of Dinoland. Let all know the penalty for trespassing," Grimlock orders. As he trudges off to his throne, he grumbles - half-jokingly - to himself, "Me Grimlock should kill them all. End this war, finally."

"Starscream, my dog, where is your leash?" Starscream, questionable loyality but one of his best soldiers. That was the only reason he kept him around even though each time he went out Megatron hoped he would never return.

"It has been over a month since the Fallen was killed by Optimus Prime but there is no reason to mourn him. No, we are finally free of that old fool's stranglehold. Which brings me to Earth. You would think it would be foolish to try and attack once again." His voice grew angry.

"Beaten back by humans," a word he speaks with much venom, "primative, weak, they look down upon us, Starscream. Although I do not blame them mostly due to your incompetence. I have searching through the files on the ship and I know how to do it. I know how to get Energon and its my secret. First, we must retrieve the Fallen's body from Earth." There silence for a moment before Megatron spoke up again.

"Some would call me insane but I have activated the Bruticus Protocol. The Decepticon supreme war weapon lives again."

I scan my optics across the junk filled planet trying to keep my contempt from showing on my face. How any respectable species can stand living on this rock is beyond me. Large jagged structures seem to grow from the planet at all angles, their exteriors a patchwork of various alloys and minerals roughly welded together. I admit upon first arriving to this planet I honestly thought that it was a Cybertronian outpost due to the transforming species populating the surface. Perhaps this "Junkions" are a distant relative to us? I quickly place the idea in my database for later review when I see my employer approaching. His alternate mode seems to fit with the environment around him.

"Hello Wreck-Gar."

The two-wheeled vehicle quickly shifts into a bipedal form. Wreck-Gar opens his voice modulator only to have sparks fly out od it before static-filled sound emerges.

"Ah Rodi*karr*mus! I take it that *kishss* that your excursion was *karr* successful?"

Without a word I lift the severed head of the Quintesson.

"Your judge is dead."

"Excellent! Ofcourse the *shhhh* credits has been stored to your ship's *karr* datatracks."

"And the energon?"

Wreck-Gar's posture changes tipping me off immediately.

"We have seem to *kishsss* have run into a slight snag."

"How so?"

The sound of tearing metal reaches my receptors as several Jukions seem to crawl out of the ground behind me.

"I didn't *karr* expect you to survive to make it back. I'm afraid we don't have enough energon to spare...."

Various energy weapons hum to life.

"I strongly suggest you take the credits and leave Autobot."

My optics narrow as I assess my situation and plan out a countermeasure. Without a word I lunge into the air flipping over the heads of my attackers. My fingers fold back giving way to my plasma cannon and unleash a wave of searing heat on my foes. Three Junkions are dead by the time my feet touch ground. Before the remaining two can react I slam their craniums together ceasing function instantly. Wrek-Gar drops the alien head and draws a weapon. Dodging a energy blast I bring my blade to bear. With a single swipe Wrek-Gar's arm comes off at the elbow.

"AHHH!"

Taking advantage of his distraction I slam my fist into his face causing even more sparks to erupt from his face. The force of the blow sends him flying to the ground.

"Now....."

I point my cannon right to Wrek-Gar's forehead.

"Wheres' my slagging energon!"

Cannonball

He had been walking the halls of Nemesis when Megatrons hail to the Decepticons came through on the commlink. HE was restless a better word would be bored he had signed up to bash some autobots and for the last month he hadn't done much more than walk these halls and kick some of the younger bots when ever they got in his way, or when he felt like it.

He responded quickly to the hail hoping that it would mean some sort of action finally. He had truly grown weary of this entire thing and thusly hurried to the throne room not to give praise to the "mighty" Megatron, but out of hope of having something to do.

He entered the room just as Megatron spoke the last few words.

"Some would call me insane but I have activated the Bruticus Protocol. The Decepticon supreme war weapon lives again."

He walked up and stood next to Starscream, with the audacity to not kneel, the lights in the room reflecting off of the gloss black metal where his left eye should have been. Not knowing what to say in response to hearing the name Bruticus, for a few nano clicks.

"When are to activate the protocol Lord Megatron that is a show I wish to join in on."

"Faithful Cannonball, welcome. You will not have to wait long, the Combaticons will soon be at Earth. Once they are in position then we will strike. For the past two mini cycles I have sat here and planned and now its finally time to initiate it. I want you to round up any more soldiers you can find. We head for Earth when I give the order." He moves closer to Starscream until they meet eye to eye.

"Unless, there are any problems?"

My false smile suddenly becomes harder and harder to fake. I fight back a snarl, holding the metal coverings over my teeth in place with great control. "No, of course not, Lord Megatron," I say, the upward inflection in my tone dropping slightly. "I trust in you, completely."

Pompous pile of slag, I think. First the constructicons fail, now you hope your precious warriors the combaticons will triumph. Fool. Still...Still, I could use this opportunity to my own advantage. "Lord Megatron," I start, bowing my head down before completing my thought. "I was wondering, would it be in your will for me to take my special unit to Earth? My idea would be to...to weaken the Autobots. Make them ripe for the picking, putting them under a constant assault until your faithful Bruticus arrives." I laugh, smiling widely...evily. "In this way, when Bruticus attacks them they will already be fatigued and weak! Their odds of victory would be astronomically small, a miniscule chance for victory on their end."

Barricade could hear Starscream spewing his bile as he approached Megatron and the gathered Decepticon leaders. The fool always thought himself a better leader than Megatron, and countless times he proved himself wrong.

"And what makes you think you would succeed this time, Starscream? Now after your countless failures," he says with an obvious level os distain in his voice. "My lord, I am ready to do your command."

Barricade - the traitor. At least, in my eyes he is. MIA for nearly two Earth years, and now, he shows his face. "Where have you been, deserter?" I growl. No need to show reverence toward him. "We thought you were dead...or an Autobot."

Barricade simply laughs at the fool's accusation, "I have been searching that spit of a plant for possible sources of Energon while you conducted our troops like a deaf maestro, Starscream."

"I will take no lip from you," the Decepticon hisses as he gets in Starscream's face. "I am not the one who continuously lets our people down."

"I have yet to command our forces, Barricade." I say with a sly smile. "Megatron knows what I did in his stead, a necessary assault that killed countless Autobots in space and on Earth. Albeit, I never got to Prime or his team, but I slaughtered enough." Ingrate. I am Air Commander of the entire Decepticon Armada! Does he know who he speaks to? "Despite that short time, I have only followed great Megatron's order. ...what was it you said? Continuously lets our people down, was it?" I grin, my hate seething through my burning red eyes. "What do you imply?"

NEST HQ

"Hold still for Primus’s sake!"

Ironhide gave an annoyed grunt.

“For the last time, Ratchet, I’m FINE.”

"Fine? Your cranial chamber is cracked!" I shout at the stubborn Autobot while starting up my EMP generator.

“Like I said, I’m fine.”

"Hmph! I’d like to hear you say that after your head starts spewing mech fluid."

I null his pain receptors and begin to patch up the crack.

“You realize every nanoklik I waste in here, I could be out there kicking Decepticon a—”

"--Pipe down or I’ll weld your mouth shut."

I slowly weld the crack shut, careful not to damage any of his neural circuitry.

"There. You’d think someone as hard-headed as you would be able to take more than a few blows to the noggin."

“Ha-ha,” replies sardonically as he hops off the operating table.

"I imply that you waited almost a year to revive lord Megatron, when a plan had been in place for months, while the humans and the Autobots bolstered their numbers and their readiness to our next attack," Barricade snarls. He had quietly accepted Starscream's command while Megatron was lost, but no more would he let this pretender get his way.

"We should have acted sooner."

"We should have acted sooner."
I turn to Megatron, nervous but still able to keep my composure. "My lord, we didn't know where the cube's pieces were being kept. As soon as Soundwave located the piece, I acted." I turn back to Barricade, finished pleading my case. "Where as this one disobeyed orders, failed to join us against Prime and the Autobots, and disappeared until your return! Where were you when Megatron was incapacitated? Still licking your wounds?!"

He had looked to Barricade when he entered but hadn't shown any emotion at all, truth be told he really didn't care if he had disappeared for so long. He hadn't been here when Barricade and the others had first come to this world and it wasn't his problem as he watched Starscream and Barricade go at each other.

"This is the real reason that we never really get anywhere! Always screaming let me let me when i scream let us!"

He turned his good optical snesor on both of them in turn from Barricade to Starscream and finally on Megatron.

"Starscream should certainly take a shot at the Autobots while we wait for Bruticus and while he does Barricade should take a group against the autobots as well, and I should as well. I'tll be a great party. Aye we'll have fun playing in the slag afterwards. I would like to request Runabout and Runamuck to join me they are always so much to point in the right direction."

As he stood there looking at them all after completely interupting their little contest.

Prime drives down the long insterstate highway with swift speed, yet an eased control. In the driver seat of his semi truck form sits an older man, large spectacles resting atop his nose just above a thin but wide moustache. The driver stares at the road, emotionless, watching the other cars as they go by.

As Prime makes his way toward NEST headquarters, his higher technological interface taps into the internet. Accessing multiple search engines and data processors, he searches recent activities, scanning for any word of Decepticon plots. What would take a normal computer a week, Prime does in minutes. He filters through the multiple forums of eager fans and skeptics who blog daily about the existance of the Transformers on Earth. Thanks to the Fallen, living in plain sight won't be as easy as it once was.

Quickly, three articles pop up in a side browser on Prime's AI. He hastily reads them, processing the data. Prime focuses on one article in particular, it's heading reading, "More than Meets the Eye: Aliens among us no longer secret". He excerpts the important points, making note of the journalist's point. "We have know aliens existed since the mid 20th century. But they've kept secret, watching from a distance and rarely showing their face. With the worldwide television station hacking we witnessed only months ago, and the battles that have been sighted across the globe in these past two years, are these aliens becoming more forward? Does this mean they are ready to come out of hiding and show us their true faces? Or does it mean, perhaps, that they are ready to take over. That they no longer need to hide. That there truly is nothing we can do." Prime sighs, dissapointed and slightly irritated.

"Human media..." he says, closing the window in his browser. Suddenly, his scanners detect a signature closing in. He closes out of the search engines and browsers and focuses on his radar. As he watches, an average sized figure begins to close in on his location. Prime looks to his mirrors, hoping to catch a glimpse of the threat. As he stares, he sees a sports car closing fast, kicking dust up behind its wheels as they spin wildly. "So, that's how it is..." he grumbles. As Prime readies himself for combat, his sensors suddenly detect two more signatures. "What?" He says in surprise. As he scans again he locates one coming from the north-west, flying swiftly in the air. The other he detects driving toward him at his nine, coming from the side blindly, most likely hidden by the forest at the side of the highway.

"Well that's just-" Prime cuts off, stopping himself mid sentence. The sports car behind him begins to close, weeving in and out between cars to catch up. The sound of honking horns and screeching tires fills the air, the angry shouts of drivers griping about the wreckless driving of the closing Cybertronian.

As the sports car closes, the bogey from the side reveals itself. A motorcycle blazes through the trees, the rider atop it holding on tightly. As Prime stares closely, he notices the rider is bouncing on the seat, his arms tensing and relaxing as he speeds forward. "Too realistic..." Prime says sternly. "That's no hologram..."

As the motorcycle closes, it weeves between the oncoming traffic, making manevuers no human could pull off. The moves are calculated, too thought out and planned to be made in the spur of the moment by a human rider. Prime pulls off into the empty lane farthest on the right, trying to protect the human drivers on the road. As he pulls off, his speed drops - he is ready.

"PRIME!" A voice growls, the tone piercing like steel scraping against itself. The sports car suddenly transforms, its parts and body morphing even at the high speeds. Sparks fly behind him in the wake, showering the cars behind him in fiery metal. As the robot transforms, his feet stay wheels, allowing him to maintain his velocity. He moves like a man on roller blades, skiing between the cars as he approaches the Autobot leader. "Come on, DO IT!" He shouts, an evil smile on his face. "Reveal yourself in front of them!"

"Yes," two voices cry out as one. "SHOW THEM!" The motorcycle suddenly transforms, thrusting its rider forward into the air. The human figure moves through the air with ease, showing no fear - no error. He lands on top of Prime's cab, gripping tightly onto his metal shell. "We know your face," the cyclist snarls. "Show them yours!" The cyclist raises his arm high, holding it above his head. His hand suddenly transforms, the skin and bone melting away in a shimmer of metallic waves. A smooth chrome knife forms in seconds, encryptions of another language etched into its face. The cyclist smiles beneath his helmet, laughing maniacally. "TRANSFORM!" He screams as he thrusts the cool metallic dagger through the cab roof, plunging it into Optimus's body.

"YES!" The motorcycle says, his body now changed to his robotic form. "Rip him to pieces, Bludgeon! Show him our power!"

"You want to see my face?" Prime says with a roar. "I'll do you one better!" Prime's truck opens, the metal flaps pushing out and begining the familiar transformation. As he changes, an arm flies out from his side. It hits the roadway with strength, forcing his body into a roll. The transformer atop his hood flips off just in time, narrowly evading being crushed beneath Prime's weight. Optimus rolls off onto the side of the road, finishing his transformation and rising to his feet. He stands ready, poised to fight. The thick steel plates come down over his face and cover him, protecting his head from injury. He throws his right arm down through the air, jerking it heavily. A large gold blade extends from his forearm, coming out six or seven feet from his wrist. His offenders slow their speed, veering off to the side to surround him. "I'll give you one chance," Prime says graciously. "Leave now and you'll live to fight another day."

"HahahahahHAHAhahahAHHA!" The cycle transformer laughs.
"Please, Optimus, we know you too well." The cyclist says, transforming into the familiar Decepticon form.
"We amubshed you here for a reason!" The third speaks, his sharp gnarled teeth showing through the scarred and torched metal plates on his face. "You don't fight as well when you're distracted."

"Distracted by what?" Prime questions, his eyes trying to watch both the Decepticons before him and the human drivers zipping by on the highway behind them.
"Them." The larger one speaks, pointing over his shoulder. "You and your moral code. 'Protect life', right? The religion of the Primes."

"Leave them alone." Prime says in a deep bellow.
"We don't take orders from you anymore, Optimus." Bludgeon says proudly. "We don't believe in your lies and fallacies."

"But you'll believe Megatron's?" Prime says with a frown.
"He only wants order! Peace! You want war."
"If you believe that, Black Jack, then you are truly lost."
"Enough of your lectures!" He screams. He raises his arm swiftly, forming a cannon from the twisted steel covering his circuits and veins. "It's time for you to suffer." Prime shakes his head, his spark in pain for what he knows he must do. These transformers were once his men, Autobots that believed in honor and order. Now they have become corrupted by Megatron's deceit and lies. If only they would have listened. If only.

Prime raises his blade, pulling his arm back and tensing his joints. He raises his other arm and holds out his hand, palm facing the sky. He motions with it, offering them to attack. "Come on." He says, provoking them.

"FOR MEGATRON!" The Decepticons shout, lunging forward into an attack. Prime holds fast, shielding his body as they begin to rip and claw at his body. His sensors alert him to the third bogey he detected earlier - the attacker who still remains hidden. He looks to the sky out of the corner of his eye, hoping to catch a glimpse. Where are you, he thinks, staring intently toward the clouds. As Prime gazes, he feels a sharp pang in his left leg. The pain brings him back into the fight, leaving him completely focused on the battle at hand.

"You used to be some of my best," Prime says, raising his hand into the air. He thrusts it down in a cool swipe, smashing the thick metal of his arm against the neck's of his attackers, sending them flying back into the dust. "Now you are only wasted slag."

"SLAG!?" Black Jack exclaims, his pride weakened. He stares to the roadway behind him and laughs. "Slag this, Prime!" He points his gun backward and takes aim. Without hesitation, he fires, sending a fiery piece of explosive metal into the side of a passing car.

"NO!" Prime shouts, rushing forward to protect. The car flips through the air, burning up into a ball of fire and sparks. The driver inside screams for only a second - then silence. Prime roars in anger, his eyes squinted tightly. He grabs the Decepticon forcefully, wrapping his fingers around his scrawny neck. "You abomination!" Prime says, his anger coming forth. "You like to dispense violence? Let's see how you recieve it!" Prime thrusts his blade into the torso of the Decepticon. The sharp metal edges pierce with ease, slicing the coolant tanks inside and spilling thick blue liquid onto the sandy ground beneath.
"I was right, Prime..." the robot speaks weakly. "D-Distracted..."

The two smaller Decepticons roll around to Prime's back, raising their rifles high. They don't hesitate, surprise lasts only seconds. Prime looks over his shoulder to see the flashes of the blasters firing. The shriek of explosions fills the air, and soon all Prime feels is the sharp pain of melted slag in his back. He moans in agony as he drops Black Jack, sending him to stew in his own fluids.

Prime collapses in the sand, kicking dust high above him into a thick could. "Typical..." Prime says, shaking his head, trying to distract from his pain. "I forgot I was fighting with cowards."
"You are certainly revered as a god by your men, Prime." Bludgeon says, stepping forward toward the fallen leader. "But even Primus fell. Now," he speaks, forcing his knife forward from his arm. "You too will fall."
"You don't derserve the title of Prime."

Bludgeon crawls on top of Prime's body, walking forward and coming to a stop on Prime's chest. He holds the blade downward, pushing it between the windshield pieces and lightly jabbing it into his stomach. "Don't worry, Prime," Bludgeon says, staring into Prime's blue nebulous eyes. "Megatron will take good care of the Matrix."

"No..." Prime says, leaning forward. "That's alright," Prime thrusts his heels into the dirt and forces all his energy into his legs. With great power, he rolls onto his chest, crushing the Decepticon beneath his weight. "I think I'll hang onto it." Prime smiles as he rises to his feet, revealing the crooked body of the now smashed Decepticon beneath him. Prime turns to the third Decepticon, looking down at him with a look of pride. Bludgeon's arm protrudes from Prime's chest, the blade still stuck between his body's armor. He reaches to it and grabs the shoulder socket, pulling the arm from his body and throwing it to the ground. "Now...where were we?" He says in a deep intimidating voice.

"Y-You win this time, Prime..." The Decepticon stammers in fear. He leaps to the side and transforms back into the motorcycle. "We'll be back to settle the score!" Prime watches as the Decepticon speeds off into the highway, disappearing in the dense traffic. Optimus grunts as the plating over his mouth folds back into the sides of his head. He turns back to face the fallen bodies of the other two Decepticons, hoping to finish what he started. As he looks, he sees they are gone. All that remains is the dismembered arm of Bludgeon and the puddle of coolant from Black Jack, leading off as a pathway across the highway and into the forrest at the other end. Prime grunts, frowning in dissapointment. "Cowards."

As he looks around, he notices the highway is at a standstill, the vehicles all stopped in unison. The drivers peer out their windows, gazing in awe at Optimus as he stands tall. "It's alright," he says in reassurance. The fluid stained blade on his arm retracts, and Prime holds out his hand in comfort. "Carry on." He orders, nodding to the civilians. Prime turns his back and walks off, heading farther off onto the side of the road. "There goes my cover," he says, shaking his head. "Autobots...I ran into some trouble. I'll be a little late."

As Prime walks on, he soon transforms, breaking back down into his Semi truck alternate form. His engine revs and he trails off, heading into a new direction off road. As he drives, he can't help but think back to the bogey he detected at the start of the fight. "Who was that being?" He questions, noticing his scanners now indicate no signs of Cybertronian life in the area. "A mystery for another time..." he says, shaking off the intrigue of the figure's identity. His wheels spin as he drives off, heading back on course to his destination.
