I beg to differ. Miller looks a lot like Chris from Resident Evil Remake, Umbrella Chronicles, and Darkside Chronicles (ie the normal none steroid version of Chris).

The only thing he is really missing is the hair. Miller has his hair too short for Chris in my opinion but I'll get over that.

His outfit is sort of a mix between old and new. His actually clothing is something new that was designed for the movie but all his gear is taking straight from the BSAA outfit that Chris wears in Resident Evil 5. He even has the little flashlight thing on his belt.

Cute montage there. Still proves nothing. Guy can't act, doesn't look like the character.

Not trying to troll up the place. Just giving me opinion. I'll be watching the movie and cringing at his acting. I imagine him making Milla look like a regular acting champ.

It's a collage.
He can act just fine and he looks enough like the character that Sienna did as Jill.

Considering Milla is a capable, decent actress, that's not a stretch.

Odds are I'm just gonna go to a regular 2D screening of this. Not a huge 3D fan and the glasses don't mix well with my own, so I'll just stick to my 2D.

Does anyone have a full length picture of Afterlife Chris? I know that his outfit isn't exactly from the game...maybe I've just overlooked it.

That being said, it's like I mentioned earlier. Having Christ wear his STARS uniform so far after the destruction of Racoon City would make no sense at all.

I don't think he should be wearing his STARS outfit either, but they truly coud have done better than a boring stale jumpsuit for him.

Thanks.

All I've seen of Chris' outfit is from the waist up. The outfit still seems to be inspired by the game. I think the issue is with the coat...which I can't imagine him wearing the whole movie.

Milla said on her twitter that Chris in the movies is past STARS as well as BSAA and that he is working for the government and they were using the prision as a safe haven for survivors. So the government getting it's soldiers cool looking uniforms probably wasn't a priority for them what with the T-Virus being in full outbreak mode.

So, crazy idea. Since Milla is quitting movies after this....how about Dwayne Johnson takes over the starring role for a couple films?

if they begin to make RE movie continuing from this series I really think that they will have Ali, Wentworth, or Sienna as the lead, not a newbie.

How do you continue the series though? Is it interesting at all to have every movie take place in a wasteland?

That would be cool.

It's really no different than having every movie take place inside Raccoon City, now is it?

Except if they had done these movies right only the second and third movies would've been in Raccoon City. The first would've been the mansion. And if they had bothered with Code Veronica-5 on they'd be different locales each film.

I know...I'm just pointing out more ridiculous criticism. As long as the story keeps progressing, it shouldn't matter.

Eh. There really is nowhere to progress the story without Alice. Alice is the only one whose story matters in these movies. If Jill, Claire, or Chris took over, sadly no one in the GA would watch, because these have become the Milla Jovovich franchise.
